An overnight shootout in the Tacony section of Philadelphia injured a police officer and left a suspect dead.
A bullet grazed Officer Stephen Korpalski in the head as he and his partner responded to a report of an armed man at the intersection of Torresdale Avenue and Magee Avenues at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, according to Philadelphia Police.

The police officer was white and the culprit was black, it won’t be crickets for long. Another opportunity for the Rev’s Al and Jesse to make asses of themselves.
While that is one lucky officer, I would NOT want to be on the receiving end of my wife if I came home with a gaze to the noggen.

Quite a different attitude about the shooting in Philly:
From the article: “The real issue is whether or not the shooting was justified at the time it occurred,” Ramsey said. “We have to really make sure that we have a thorough and complete investigation.”
Byshera Richardson, who ducked for cover with her daughter when the shooting took place, believes the officers handled the situation correctly.
“I’m glad that they did what they had to do,” she said.

None of the other facts matter. Was the victim black and the police officer white? That’s all our DOJ is interested in.
As a retired Police Officer, with a few bumps and brusies gleaned from my job, I can relate. LOL!
Let it boil for awhile. Incite some riots and looting. Let all the government fed gangsta’ thugs pillage, rape steal and murder while the media damns the police, and then Holder can go in to make matters worse.
Maybe they can get some horse’s ass football team to run out on the field holding up flat screen TVs, cases of Skittles, Swisher Sweets, MD 20/20 and other symbols of black justice.

taconey isn’t that bad an area. nice to see only 7 crimes where i live, stolen car and theft from vehicle (car).
AS a kid I grew up a couple blocks from there. Was nice.
