Lol. When my lil fuzzball needs my attention, she does this. If I don’t respond, she keeps doing it until I pet her or talk to her.

Two of ours do this. No catnip needed! Cats are clever enough beasties to understand that if you try something once and it works, it’s worth trying again. All it took was a curious cat, a responsive human, and the stage is set!

I had a female Maine Coon who lived 20 yrs. every step I made she made and was insanely jealous of any girlfriends and eventually my wife whom she was at war with until the kitty passed.
While in college I would be sitting up studying and my kitty would walk over to me, jump up on my desk or the night stand next to me about mid-night and gently tap me like the cat in the video until I responded to her. In her case she was telling me turn the light out, it’s bed time. I would say okay girl in a minute and she would walk off. Ten mins. later she was right back tapping me on the arm again and would do so until I relented and went to bed. She would then get in the bed and stretch out against my back or side and sleep all night.
The first night my wife showed up in the bedroom and got in the bed on the kitty’s side of the bed the war was on. The cat would jump up on the bed walk across my wife’s chest and face and sleep at the top of the bed above my head. Before she would stay in the bed all night, but when my wife showed up she would go in and out all night each time walking across my wife’s face and chest to get off the bed. By the third night I heard a thud about 3:00am and the cat let out a scream and I heard my wife uttering “stay off me you damned cat!” As I said the war was on between the two until the kitty passed.

My Gray tabby that I had for 4 or 5 years before I got married was the same way. She refered to my wife as “that women” and never truely got along.
However, in a final irony, she died just a few months before my wife, and her ashes are buried in my wife's casket. I slipped them into it before it was closed, now they can fight over the good spot for eternety.

I also found the trigger ear cute. Rub his ear and he stomps his foot.

The last gal I dated for about 6 months never believed I had a cat even tho she would see a food dish full then empty..........i don't know why, but Squeek is afraid of anyone coming to or into my house and hides under my bed until they're gone.
The rescue agency said she was good with people but that hasn't turned out to be the case........
