Can the independent party bring suit instead of the GOP?

I fully expect if you tried that it would be thrown out on standing&hallip;

I am going to be a poll watcher in Charlotte on Tuesday.

If you observe hinkiness going on, is there any recourse for you or must you just stand/sit and watch?

if this is indeed the case, why hasn’t there been any pursuit of calling out election fraud based on the integrity of the ballot/vote cast, regardless of the racial makeup of the voters?

The decisions establish this is indeed the case and offer the answer to your question.

Perhaps the most blatant examples of voter fraud appear to occur in areas that have an identifiable racial or low income makeup.
Politics is more likely to be a “team sport” in such areas and may also offer the opportunity to vote many times in order to pick up some walking around money.
Thus, in such areas it is arguably impossible to avoid the court prohibited “appearance” of using racial criteria…etc.

Sure, the Pubs at the time got rolled on their agreement. As I often said in my posts a few years ago: “The Pubs and the Dems are in a street fight for the soul our nation, but it seems only the Dems know this.”

Voter ID requirements seem fundamentally sensible and the lack thereof inexcusable. Since forged ID is so easily available, an accompanying thumbprint would probably deter or reveal much fraud and in this computer age would not seem unreasonable.

There are many actions they COULD take but don’t take...Why!...blackmail as a possibility...

It is frustrating to be on their team. Blackmail and certainly other more gentle forms of coercion are possibilities.

IMO it includes the leadership of the party - see Joe Wilson (R) being forced to apologize for doing what his voters expected by yelling out and challenging O's significant lie - and the desire to not burn bridges but to go along to get along - see Newt sitting on the couch with Pelosi, Bush praising and hugging her. See Boner...

The sense during my lifetime is that the party, at least at the leadership level, wishes to be perceived as responsible gentlemen. Many of us who have seen much of the rest of the world know that style is not always possible or advisable.

For years I didn’t think there was much voter fraud, but now I think the fraud is actually enough to swing elections. Theres way too many evidence annd way TOO EASY to commit voter fraud and not get caught

Between the illegals and computers doing the voting, the could easily zero out all of our votes. However, they're not stupid enough to do that; gotta make it look reasonable, i.e., _they_ win by believable margins.
