And tomorrow the Browns that now exist only have their third-string quarterback available. What could go wrong?

I was 11 and I still remember watching that game in the basement of my Uncle’s house with a crowd of family there.

I remember that day.
As a long time suffering former Clevelander,I fear it will never be repeated in my lifetime.

I too was 11 but I remember listening to it on radio as the TV broadcast was blacked out locally in the Cleveland area.

It wasn’t called that yet at the time but, yes, the NFL Championship.

Cleveland is to Football what the Cubs are to Baseball.

Naw, the Browns make the Cubs look like a well run dynasty. I’m 57 and will never see the Browns win.

"And tomorrow the Browns that now exist only have their third-string quarterback available. What could go wrong?' Ask Ohio State what happens when you use your 3rd string QB.

Cleveland has won a Super Bowl? The term "Super Bowl" is misleading. There were really only four true "Super Bowls," i.e., AFL vs. NFL, and only in the last two was the winner a team other than the NFL champion. So, for example, the two teams with the most NFL championships are the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears, even though a number of those championships were before the term "Super Bowl" was invented.

Everybody remembers Jim Brown, but my favorite Browns player
was the unbelievably swift and graceful wide receiver Paul Warfield.

Was that the time that Cleveland had Jim Brown as FB and Dr. Frank Ryan as QB?

they’re headed in the right direction ... GO BROWNS!!!
To: Perdogg
I was at this game. I was a 17 year old high school senior. I sat at about the 10 yard line, lower deck toward the open (dog pound) end of the stadium.
It was a cold, gray day but watching Gary Collins catch three TD passes from Frank Ryan & the Brown’s defense dominate the great Johhny Unitas, Raymond Berry, Lenny Moore, et al sure warmed me up.
