In what area of the spec sheet is the Apple product superior to the Samsung I posted?
PPI on the Samsung is far greater.
The Samsung has 8 cores versus Apples 2.
I could go on and on.
How is the Apple product superior? Please point it out to me.
The Apple phone makes a much greater profit for Apple.
Apple will get you laid faster than an android. Starbucks the same over nescafe. It’s just, just, cooler!
Apple wins in 3rd party apps I guess
*shrugs*
Both companies are putting out great products
It has that cool logo.
That's how.
The software. Android is garbage. I develop on both, and there is no comparison.

Ah... a Samsung fanboi outing himself!
I’ll take flack for this, but; I live in a family of iPhone users. I’ve tried to use their iPhones and iPads numerous times. It was frustrating after the straightforward intuitive operation of my S4, to get anywhere on an iPhone or iPad. Everything is ass-backwards from what a logical, sensible person would do.
Only geeks count specs . . . it is not about specs. Do you seriously think that 577 PPI on a 5.1" phone screen makes any difference other than advertising hyperbole? Optical experts say that no one can see the differences on that small a screen. It's all hype after about 280 PPI at the viewing distances people use cell phones except in viewers' imaginations. 8 Cores? Apple has been beating 4 cores with just two at half the clock speed. . . because of far greater efficiencies and the fact that Android really doesn't know how to use more than one core effectively. Even in the multicore bench mark, the fastest Android for cores just barely beat out Apple's two cores. How effectively is it going to manage EIGHT?
AND THAT WAS ON PHONES PEOPLE CLAIMED THE SPECS WERE BETTER!
Mainly the fact that one can actually buy an iPhone 6 today?
"PPI on the Samsung is far greater."
I think you mean "will be".
It's also meaningless, since ever since Apple debuted the Retina Displays, the pixels have been indistinguishable at any reasonable viewing distance. Granted the Samsung amoled displays have extreme color saturation, which some people like.
"The Samsung has 8 cores versus Apples 2."
I think you meant "will have".
There are a ton of other variables, such as whether the silicon real estate could be better spent on other types of hardware acceleration, overall clock speed, memory architecture, cache, amount of throttling and so on.
"I could go on and on."
Do tell...
"How is the Apple product superior? Please point it out to me."
There's a wide consensus that iOS is superior to Android in many ways. First, there is UI consistency across every app. Samsung phone apps use three different UI toolkits. There is no bloatware/crapware with iOS. There is a wider selection of apps. Finally, Apple is committed to protecting your privacy and data, whereas Google makes it's living exploiting both.
Next, let's compare the current phones (iPhone 6 Plus versus Galaxy S5), instead of speculating on future hardware that may or may not arrive as advertised.
First the iPhone 6 Plus vs Galaxy S5 head-to-head review
You can read the whole thing on your own time, but here's the bottom line:
Overall winner: iPhone 6 Plus
Having won four rounds to the Galaxy S5's two, the iPhone 6 Plus is the clear winner of this head-to-head review. Featuring a larger screen, better battery life and more future-proof assurance regarding software updates, the iPhone 6 Plus is an excellent smartphone. However, with three rounds having resulted in draws and the Galaxy S5 offering a higher maximum storage cap than the iPhone 6 Plus, and costing a full £40 less, it was still a closely contested battle.
That review didn't do any detailed performance testing, so here's a iPhone 6 Plus vs. Galaxy S5 performance review from Tom's Hardware.
Here's the summary:
That's a quick look at how the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus compared to the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the iPhone 5s. The S5 displays more of the color gamut, but Apple's smartphones are by and large much brighter. In general, Apple's newest handhelds also outperform the S5 on many tests, making them the more powerful devices.
One one particularly telling 3D test, GFXBench Manhattan, the iPhone 6 Plus scored just under three times as fast. Interestingly, the S5 performance was definitely impacted by the number of pixels the GPU has to push. We'll see how much the S6 closes the gap, considering its extremely (and unnecessarily) hi-res display. ;-)
