I have downloaded Dr.Fone and am trying it but it looks like it'll find the video but I'd have to pay $70 to recover one 2 minute video.
Looking for alternatives.

There are some free tools that allow you to see the files on your iPhone. . . and you will find that many of the videos and photos are still there even if deleted until overwritten. iExplore is one. . . iBrowse is another. Check them out. You should be able to find it. There are versions of both of those for Mac and Windows.

Apple still has it on a server somewhere. They shared it with the NSA, submit a FOIA to the NSA and get a copy.
