It's been a while, but this is why they taste like crap these days. Plus, either the worker puts too much salt on them (hard to do, but it's possible), or not enough.
Seems typical of PC pandering companies.

You inferred the meat has wood fiber, you inferred the fries have wood fiber, and you get all “I didn’t say that” when called on it.

BTW. Re-consult a dictionary. “Obtuse” wouldn’t be the word I think you were going for. Just guessing but a more appropriate word might have been “evasive,” or perhaps “misleading.”
Our cub scout troop took a tour of the McDonald’s back in the med-60’s. I remember the machine they used to peel the potatoes, it was the size of one of those old extractors you’d see in laundromats that would spin most of the water from the just-washed clothes. The peeler didn’t spin that fast but it had holes punched into the inside surface of the drum that abraded the skin off the potatoes. They even fed us lunch after the tour! :)

That is the key point most people are missing, but you understand: You cannot travel home with these fries from anywhere.
They ALL taste like crap once they drop below the threshold where they are just barely too hot to comfortably pick up with your finger.
You must eat them immediately, or they are all disgusting, be it McDonalds, Five Guys or Burger King.
It goes without saying you have to buy a NEW and UNUSED toilet brush to do this!
