Don’t get distracted - the flag has nothing to do with the real agenda of those who attack it.
Its not a democrat symbol today.
During the Iraq war, they were ripping down US flags.
My own answer to liberals is that I’m not nearly as interested in the last flag of secession as I am in the new one that’s inevitably coming.
the issue is that certain blacks do not feel that the Civil Rights Movement did enough for them. The Confederate battle Flag was put up at Statehouses throughout the South as a protest of the Civil Rights Movement. now did the blacks receive reparations from the US Government for being in bondage for slavery. The plantation mentality exist yet to day. Look at the NAACP that boycotted the stae of south carolina, the boycott has been lifted because the flag and the flag pole was removed from the statehouse grounds. They are going after the State of Mississippi to remove the Confederate Battle Flag from its state flag. What is next th flag of Great britain, The USA or whomever they decide is not giving them enough money!
I have bought two over the last week. They will be run up the pole on arrival.

And there are plenty of videos of people doing it.
If anyone other than a tiny tiny number of people associated this flag with democrats then republicans wouldn’t hesitate to vote for it to removed. It’s not democrats flying these things. That’s why social-conservatives are upset.
Maybe patriots should schedule a flag burning. Bring Isis, rainbow, and hammer-sickle flags for a good roasting.
Any attempt to just peas away a large chunk of many families’ histories, is futile, and will only increate the ire against those initiating such actions.
Think of any attempt to peas away any familial content connected to The Daughters of the American Revolution, which might just be the next step.
