Rush: Trump Had A Fairly Decent Answer to Hugh Hewitt's Questions, It's Not Going To Hurt Him
The Right Scoop ^ | 9/4/2015 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 09/04/2015 1:18:37 PM PDT by conservativejoy

Rush Limbaugh talked about the Hugh Hewitt interview with Donald Trump today on his radio show and basically said that Trump had a fairly decent answer to Hewitt’s questions about the names of the terrorist organizations in the Middle East. And because of that and the fact that both Reagan and Bush had a similar problem and were both elected twice, he really doesn’t think this is going to hurt Trump at all.

What happened to this woman is outrageous when you look at the scum rioters and politicians who get NOTHING for much worse.

“We are a Nation of Laws” and a president who would recognize that and would hold those who’ve gotten passes in the past account is okay by me.

Keep in mind:

It’s not what politicians say or what they do that get them elected and cause shifts in popularity, it is instead what the media says they say and what the media says they do and what the media opts not to say about what they say and do which gets them elected, etc.

It’s the media. Not the politician. Topple the Associated Press and middle America will make a big shift rightward.

“In before the Trump haters.”

They don’t just hate Trump. They are intolerant of and often hate anyone here who they believe supports Trump.

Most use the same buzzwords, call his supporters Democrats and trolls, call Megyn Kelly a “conservative Christian lady” and toss around “hero worship” like we talk about Hussein being a god to the left.

Vile Freepers.

The problem was not Trump’s ignorance about the topic - that is to be expected, and he should have just dealt with it directly. “This is an area I am studying right now, but I can assure you that my administration will find and hire the best minds in the country to develop a strategy for dealing with these groups.” That’s really all he had to say.

The problem was, as usual, his thin skin. He had to complain about it being a “gotcha” question. Sorry, but with that area being one of the greatest threats to our country, I think finding out what he knows, what he thinks and how he intends to get up to speed on the topic is a very legitimate endeavor.

Trump - stop complaining about the questions. If you don’t know the answer, tell us, and tell us what you are going to do to get better informed. If you do know the answer, give us more than general platitudes about what you would do about it.

That are being one of the greatest threats to our country being the same area that our senate voted 99-1 to make available to them nuclear warheads on ICBM’s?

That same area?

It actually was smarmy and ludicrous.

Questions like that don’t serve the electorate and does nothing to tell us what the candidate thinks or his philosophy and approach to the problem will be.

It’s not thin skin. It’s Trump calling people out on their real motivation...something cowards don’t do

You say “thin skinned”, I say “combative.” I’m sure the media and the GOPe were prefer Trump to roll over.

I think he pointed to how he felt about the mid east in 2004 when he said invading Iraq was a huge error. Seems he was ahead of the curve on that one.

He also said that Obama would be a great president, and that was more recent than 2004. Most Trump supporters avoid referring to Trump's past statements and positions, for the simple reason that it opens up a long list of liberal positions and statements for examination. They prefer to pretend that all that matters is what Donald has said since he decided to run for president...

“Fox and Friends” was trying to drum this thing up to make Trump look bad this morning. Rush is probably right on this.

“Jeb’s Friends” might be a good name for that show......

Project much? I have rarely seen anyone get attacked with such spite and such venom as one who dares to question Trump or bring up any of his past positions or statements. Even people who attack the pope on the Catholic forums get treated with more respect.

I don’t care what he has said, I see how he is running and that is exactly what I want. I intend to vote for him in the primary and in the general if he wins for one reason, he is against the established losers we have been supporting for years based on their lies upon lies. What do you want? Cruz, is my second choice to Trump. Rubio, no way. Bush, a joke in a suit, Carson, he could not even answer a foreign policy question when asked a few weeks ago and his stances on guns are far different now then a month ago. I do like he is against O care and Fag rulings so I could go with him if Trump or Cruz get destroyed. The rest? Kind of like betting the field.

So I heard from Rush today that he and Trump have golfed together. Rush didn’t say how many times, maybe they’re golfing buddies. Does this explain Rush’s pro-Trump bias?

Rush is right. The incident told me more about Hugh Hewitt than Trump. It would not sway me one way or another in deciding my vote. I do like that Trump slashes out. It’s about time.

Nope.

“I have rarely seen anyone get attacked with such spite and such venom as one who dares to question Trump or bring up any of his past positions or statements. Even people who attack the pope on the Catholic forums get treated with more respect.”

Bwahahahahahahaha!!!!!

I’ve seen the exact opposite, and the proof is in my posting history if you care.

Have a great day!
