I'll be at an event tonight hosted by Carlos Lopez Cantera, currently Lt. Gov in FLA but announced in July that he's running for Rubio's senate seat.
What does anyone know about him? Any tips on who the most conservative candidate is?

A conservative in Florida is someone who uses real cream and sugar in his Starbucks vanilla latte.
All I can say is the governor has been the most conservative I’ve seen so far, but he authorized the persecution of George Zimmerman. That was either pandering to the Democrats or pure idiocy. He has come through on his jobs promises.

Yes he has announced he is running. Conservative Review scores him at 88%, second of all Florida Representatives.
