Daniel Fleetwood, a "Star Wars" fan whose dying wish was to see the upcoming movie, died this week.
"He is now one with God and with the Force," his wife, Ashley Fleetwood, wrote on her Facebook page Tuesday. He died in his sleep and in peace, she posted.
Fleetwood, a 32-year-old "Star Wars" aficionado who had terminal cancer, got the chance to see an unedited version of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" on Thursday, a Disney representative confirmed.

well, that broke my heart
Thats awesome. They let him see it.
One of those rare cases of corporations being truly giving.
I read about this before. So glad this poor man got to see the movie. His one-item bucket list. :(
I’m glad this man got his dying wish. Rest in peace friend.
Good thing this wasn’t years ago and this was the Phantom Menace, he would have killed himself instead.
Aww C’mon, TPM wasn’t that bad. There does seem to be a lot of hope the new one will be great.
Disney really panders to the LGBT.
But they did the right thing here and I am glad.
I HATE cancer.
My fiance has had three bouts. one brain and two breast.
She is 10 times stronger than me and i would be lost without her.
FIND A CURE!!!!
I guess you could say we have...a new hope...
I'll show myself out.
Watch the Plinkett Star Wars reviews on YouTube. The prequels are the worst films ever made.
I love Redlettermedia!

John 3:36
"The only 'force' in the universe is God. I wish I had listened and trusted in Jesus Christ to save me. And now I must pay the penalty for my sin ... forever." (the unbelieving dead 'Jedi Master')
Sounds like future audiences should be careful if they are planning to see this film.
They have cures already for most types. Brain cancers are difficult, but the rest can be handled. I’d be happy to let you fill you in with what I know.
Im thinking of compiling as many of these outlandish headlines as possible an publishing them in Comic Book form!!
The same thing happened years ago with the third film in the series. A young terminal ill boy got to see the movie before it was released. He then passed away a few days later.
