See you humans get me so angry and then you do something as loving as saving these animals. I would have totally understood had they been put down too but the love generated just gonna fill so many of us up.

My 9 year old has just started sleeping by me, after almost a decade of refusing to be on the bed. I feel so honored.

I had 3 blind cats, years ago. I found them as stray kittens. They did quite well and lived long lives. I just couldn’t rearrange the furniture very often.

My late Rocket the Maine Coon used to sleep on my hip.

He died of CRF, and I still miss him being on my hip in bed.
I was devastated for a long time, 3-1/2 years, and I still cry
for missing him, but I try not to get too upset.

I am so sorry.

Our cat, we will have had him for 3 years in March, has finally gotten to where anyone sitting on the couch with a blanket across their lap, is a good target for a napping nest. He sleeps by my feet most of the night, most nights, and will climb up my body for petting, if I am laying on my back.

We have since adopted two more cats, Midnight (another Maine
Coon) and Tootsie, a tiny tortie tiger. They are sweeties.

A house without cats is like a day without sunshine.

I lost my Rawly after 22 years in June of 1990, I just lost my Old Jack after 18 years this December 30th.
Just kind of makes me wonder why GOD made their lives so short and mine so long.

You’re right. I have a collection of small cedar boxes, each one with the ashes of a cat.
Tiger, Muffin, Lucas, Slinker, Rocket, Katy, and a sick little stray who couldn’t be saved.

But Midnight, Tootsie, Shadow, and Bobbie are all doing well.

I do wish that they were longer-lived, but I’m sure that God knows what He is doing.
