Dear Trump supporters..Happily, a level of civility seems to have returned to FR, after being absent for several months. And I'll own up to having tossed fuel on the fire, on more than one occasion.
But this is an honest attempt at understanding. After being in quiet mode for almost 12 hours, Trump has started Tweeting again.
And I don't understand what he means? Is he saying that it is NOT worth his while to self fund for the office of the president?

George Soros could tweet the very same thing.

Not worth it? Does that mean he is going to seek donations or that he is dropping out?

It’s twitter being one of the worst inventions in the world for a man who just speaks his mind.
if he had spent more on a ground game, he might have won.
i’m sure all the candidates are thinking things we dont want to hear. they just dont put them to twitter.
thank goodness

It is hard to understand.
Sounds like he’s feeling sorry for himself.
He does, though, take donations from which he pays himself back.
He does not self-fund.

Hate on the voters.

Cruz already tweeting that Trump has dropped out?
Oh wait. He’s saving that move for election night.
To: ken5050
To my point of view it appears sour grapes he didn’t win last night. I believe he will regret posting this albeit never stating as much.

I think he means that by self funding he is not beholden to any special interest groups but voters don’t seem to care.

I don’t know.
I do appreciate him self funding but I don’t think he should have said not worth it.
Keep fighting Trump, you’re our only hope. Think how much fun you will have debating Bernie.

I speak Trump.
He’s saying he might as well take donations from majors like Cruz.
But probably wont.
But should.

My take is many entitled came to take advantage of Trumps goodwill. And he expected that Iowans would realize that all candidates funded by big donors own that candidate... and what Trump found out is Republicans by and far are really status quo government.

When Trump talks about his money it reminds me a lot of when Oprah gave away all those cars to her audience.
Find out later that she did not purchase the cars for those people, it was a marketing and advertising ploy by the car maker.
It cost her nothing to "give away new cars." She did them a favor that really cost her nothing or next to nothing. Sorta like walking around chump change.
Trump represents the Oprah-nization of American politics.

So basically he’s calling the voters ungrateful because they didn’t give him what he wanted. Just like the spoiled little brat he is.
