But this is an honest attempt at understanding. After being in quiet mode for almost 12 hours, Trump has started Tweeting again.
And I don't understand what he means? Is he saying that it is NOT worth his while to self fund for the office of the president?
Smells like . . .bullsh!t.
When anyone discusses a tweet, it’s customary to post a screen cap of the tweet(s) being discussed. Where’s the screen cap @realDonaldTrump?
Oh wait. There ISN’T one.
This wouldn’t happen to be another lie, would it?
I don’t know but if he is saying Iowa is not worth it, I have to agree. I have never understood why a state that is likely to vote ‘rat in November has such a big part in picking the republican nominee. I would like to see a state that votes reliably republican in the general get all the attention that Iowa gets.
I would not call myself a supporter, other than my appreciation for how he handles the press...
but I can understand perfectly what he meant.
What he was saying was He doesn’t want to self fund if all that money will potentially be for nothing.
He is not used to losing... He doesn’t like to invest in lost causes.
He was also saying “WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED OUT THERE???” “Did you all stay home or something???”
He doesn’t understand how the polls could have been so wrong.
He forgets that a caucus is not like many other primaries where representatives (not end game voters) are the ones pulling the levers.
His stumping in Iowa was targeted to the voters... not the delegates, and he got “Trumped” by the machine and still doesn’t get it.
Thats what he was really saying in his tweet... “I don’t get it!... What happened?”
What he means is that everyone else are hoes to Super PACs. I find it hard to believe you can’t see that.
Simple, He knows that all the other candidates are beholding to Big Money Puppet Masters.
He thought that more people should have voted for him because he is the only Honest candidate without hidden agendas that are anti-American and go against American Sovereignty.
He felt for a moment that his struggle on the campaign trail for some Americans-In-Name-Only are not worth the effort but he will persevere in his noble effort.
Sad that people even have to ask for the interpretation.
IMO, it means that after all is said about politicians being bought and paid for, in the end people don’t really care. But he will continue to self fund.
It's in English and it says: ""I don't believe I have been given any credit by the voters for self-funding my campaign, the only one. I will keep doing, but not worth it!"
I think he’s weighing the pros and cons of it. He spent very little money and he’s beginning to think maybe he need to spend more money to actually win. If he continue to lose, he’s going to seek donations and start spending big
I wanna answer that. Trump says Iowans don’t appreciate he’s a billionaire.
Is there any other way to interpret it?
1) People whine, moan, and make a big deal about all the money in politics and how it buys influence, yada, yada. This is the thing Trump believed was really an issue to most people when obviously, it's not. It's just more noise to keep facts from being the focus, as an excuse to sit out the election, or just a way to not commit to anyone when asked..
2) It's not worth self funding when people care about it far less than they claim to.He'd have no trouble getting plenty of money from donors and plenty of other help as well. IMHO, now he'll take the free help but not money since he said he'd self-fund his campaign and may think it'll make a difference elsewhere. Opponents will no doubt whine about it being no different than cash, it obviously won't help them much.
JMHo, and remember, everybody has one
A huge lesson for Donald to learn: if you want to buy voters you have to put checks in the mail just like when you buy politicians.
I assume you mean to demonstrate your independence by self-funding. But the Presidency is no job for an iconoclast. You'll need to demonstrate some ability to work with and build a coalition with people who are not your supporters in order to succeed. This is the structure of our government.
The question is who will you seek out and ally with to achieve your aims? I'm not talking about celebrity endorsements here...will you crowdfund? Seek out like-minded folks in the billionaires club? Join forces with Democrats who reject Socialism? Join forces with the Socialists? What could you possibly do for me to secure the measly $50 a month I'm currently giving to Ted Cruz?
Sincerely,
R. Voter
Translation: I will win, I’m not controlled by donor money and my wife doesn’t write papers for the CFR on how to remove American sovereignty: http://www.vdare.com/posts/ted-cruzs-wife-heidi-on-task-force-which-wrote-building-a-north-american-community-report-aimed-at-abolishing-america
coming in second is not enough reward for the virtue of self funding. He may have to start requesting donations to get better results
Good luck with your request. Trying to decipher any tweet is a fool’s errand. They are too cryptic, and could mean anything.
Anyone that has self funded a campaign comes to the conclusion it was not worth the money spent, it was not worth it.
I think Trump is saying that self funding is not resonating like he thought it would and he’s probably going to quit harping on it.
Maybe a pre-Opus?
Donald Trump seems to be a bit peeved at the voters for
not appearing to appreciate him spending his own money on
his campaign. - Maybe he’s beginning to wonder if this
running for President thingy is losing its attraction for
him. - His stated stand on the Muslim “asylum seekers” was
his strong suit with me. IF they don’t get that mess right;
either it’s gonna be WWIII on this continent and fighting
to the last man or woman to preserve this country or else
the Jihadist Caliphate rammed down our throats! AGH (Ain’t.
Gonna. Happen.) HAY ULL NO!!!!!!!
Now, I was gonna crawl over rough gravel to get to the polls
and vote for him if he got the Republican nomination. Him
or any of the non-elites that they put forth to run on the
Republican ticket. Just NO MORE RINOs!
DT is looking in the mirror to say, “You’re fired!”
