After the re-boot Spider-Man with Andrew Garfield crashed and burned SONY gave up and teamed with Disney/Marvel. Next should be 20th Century Fox throwing in the towel on Fantastic Four.

my aunt took two grandkids to see one of these shows a few weeks ago and she said the sex scene was so bad, the kids CAME UP TO HER and asked her if they should leave.

Your auto probably took her kids to see Deadpool. That was an R rated movie with pretty rough language and sex situation.

There were endless comments, reviews, and warnings that it was not appropriate for kids.

I saw it. I wouldn’t take any kid under 14 to it.

Your Aunt did not do her homework. Don’t blame the movie.

Deadpool is not a kiddie movie - or a kiddie character

Are you talking about the Marvel Universe Live shows that are traveling the country? Or are you talking about a movie (Deadpool)?

This trailer is a preview for the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War” movie.

There were numerous, specific ads about Deadpool NOT being a kid’s movie - several of which starred Deadpool himself.

The point being made isn’t personal - only that your aunt should have known that Deadpool wasn’t appropriate for kids, both from the rating and from the specific ads made that stated “Deadpool is not for kids”.

I, personally, think the studio made an honest and upright effort to warn movie goers that Deadpool wasn’t in the same vein as the more family-friendly host of Marvel movies.

Well the new spiderman was beyond stupid.. first they tried a reboot after the last series was only a few years old, basically for a cash grab and to hold onto the property, then they decided to try to make Peter Parker “cool”....

Sorry, but Peter Parker is a dork, always has been, always will be, spider man is his cool alter ego.... making the secret identity a smart mouth skateboard riding punk was just beyond stupid. Never saw any of those, and will probably die without seeing them.

Now as to Civil War, I am sure it will make money, but honestly from the preview it looks stupid, I have never been a fan of superhero v superhero storylines... about the only one that I thought has ever worked has been the conflict between batman and superman in the right context... Otherwise I just find the entire things stupid.... From what I see, Civil War just looks dumb.... yes, even dumber than antman.

When I went to see Deadpool, there was a couple up ahead of me with three children, the oldest maybe 12, buying tickets. The cashier warned her that the film wasn’t appropriate for children that age. The wife got really snotty with him.

Anyway, guess who left about 30 minutes into the movie and, I was told later by the manager, asked for their money back?

Oh for goodness sake, relax. You came on and about a movie you did not even see.

Anyone with two ounces of grey matter to rub together checks out a movie before taking their grand kids to see it.

You cannot post ignorant statements and then get mad when you are called on it.

And really...relax.

And I loved the movie. I think it’s hilarious that someone took their grand children to see it.

Interesting. That’s the older “silver-age” Spiderman costume, and it looks like they borrowed an FX from Deadpool, because Spidey’s “eyes” are animated. You can (just barely) see them narrow there at the very end of his brief appearance.

aunt is busy with 37 year old daughter who has Thalassemia and shouldn’t by all means be alive still.

funny how she forgets to check a movie rating with such a clear head.

she’s got quite a bit of grey matter and a lot of faith.

And I care for her deeply.

“she’s a little busy with other thing I wont go into.”

Too busy to look at the tickets she bought and see the “R”?
No sympathy here.

“Never saw any of those, and will probably die without seeing them.”

You are missing nothing. They are stupider than you think.

If you don't know what movie it was, how do you know it was rated PG?
