NBA: 2017 Charlotte All-Star Game in doubt after 'discriminatory' law

The fate of next season's NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte is in question after a law was passed in North Carolina that the league views as "discriminatory" toward gays, it announced on Thursday.

"The NBA is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for all who attend our games and events," the league said in a statement. "We are deeply concerned that this discriminatory law runs counter to our guiding principles of equality and mutual respect and do not yet know what impact it will have on our ability to successfully host the 2017 All-Star Game in Charlotte."

So let me get this straight. I either agree to let a grown man follow my daughter into the women’s restroom or you won’t let the NBA play the 2017 all star game in Charlotte. That’s easy. Go straight to hell and play the game in San Francisco. I’m sure they won’t mind.

The cater & kissa$$ to gays continue with the politically correct "me too" set.

So much for the inclusive environment. Either you do what the NBA says or they pack up their ball and go elsewhere. I wonder if the NBA has ever checked any other state laws anywhere over the years to make sure each one fit their agenda. Heck, next it might be a 20 week ban on abortions that sets the NBA off. Or possibly some giant corporation that is exempt from the contraception mandate. Strain at gnat and swallow a camel.

Charlotte wanted to stave off Muslim immigrants so they passed this law. No Muslim will live in a city where his daughter has to share a bathroom with a man.

And Atlanta is being pressured by the NFL. Our sports are now being politicized and economic pressure exerted. It won’t bother me to drop both of these leagues from my viewing schedule. Gives me more to to read and re-read Vince Flynn, Brad Thor, and John Ross.

I miss the days when Sports was about giving each other concussions.

Wish the governor would make the same statement.

We’re all doomed! This is the end of the world. No “All-Star” game. What will we do?

Oh please. This s*it is so fricking stupid.

So now we can’t have NBA All Star Games in states with religious freedom laws, duly passed by the elected legislatures of said states????

The NBA is going all in with the liberals???

Let it all burn. I am only on this earth for about 25 more years anyway. Glad I won’t be here to see it. By then, there will be no women’s bathrooms, and there will be male homosexuals doing it in the “unisex” bathrooms 24/7. Let it burn like Sodom and Gomorrah.

So the NBA is for the proposition that a dude can use the ladies room. Lovely. Sports leagues have no business getting involved in this nonsense.

NC and GA should pass a law to increase the taxes of the NBA and NFL. They could also pass a tax increase on the visiting players of the leagues, something to the effect individuals making over $500,000 who are non-residents and earn money in the state for less than 14 days.
