Thanks again for all your efforts to post the caucus vote and discussion threads these past few months.

I was so happy today, it was hard to resist the urge to VOTE TRUMP but I wouldn't want to mess up my vote.

"Win it fair and square? Sure. Manipulate delegates? No."

It dawned on me earlier tonight how Ted came up with his strategy to win the nomination by poaching delegates he couldn’t win with votes.

Then I remembered Jeb’s comment about “winning the general election by losing the primaries”.

Either Bush Inc., who took over Ted’s campaign after Jeb dropped out gave Ted that strategy, or he stole that idea from them too.

Either way, I don’t think he can pull it off. He’s too busy insulting states that haven’t voted yet.

“Ted now needs 137.86% of the remaining delegates. It’s a joke.”

It certainly is. Ted is absolutely done. He can’t win the nomination fair and square, even if he sweeps all of the remaining states. It’s finally time for him to gracefully concede the race to the clear winner.

Even at this late date it may be possible for Ted to salvage his political career. He may even be able to bargain his way into a key appointment in the Trump administration if he hurries.

If he obstinately hangs on, there’s a strong chance his political career is over. It’s doubtful he’ll even win re-election to his Senate seat.

Thank you for your nice comments.

Tead really fell off the beaten path IMO.

What a shame.

He will never hold a higher office than he does right now.

I think it’s doubtful how long he’ll hold that one.

He just melted down, and folks aren’t going to guy into this guy again.

Nixon had a very respectable showing against Kennedy.

Tead couldn’t even get to the show. Then there’s the way he ran his campaign. Rightly or wrongly, (rightly IMO) he was just a dirty player and folks perceive him that way.

I think it gets brutally ugly for him from here on out.

Trump is doubling down. Nothing is going to be easy, and he has no path whatsoever.

Trump will be very close to 1237, and Ted will still be back at 900 or so delegates.

He’s done. If he doesn’t know it, someone should tell him.

My concern is that the GOPe will play dirty and deny Trump the nomination with rules changes, unseating of delegates.

I just totaled up Pennsylvania’s delegate election results with Trump’s delegate list and 31 of the 54 district delegates elected in PA were listed by the Trump campaign as his supporters.

This gives Trump along with the 17 ‘bound’ first ballot to the winner delegates a total of 48 of the 71 PA delegates but watch out. They play dirty in this state.

I agree. Ted should now suspend his campaign. Kasich was always nothing more than a disrupter and a complete RINO. I’m actually surprised he even won his own state.

5 weeks to my primary and I am still on the fence…Tea Party favorite/solid conservative Ted Cruz was my pick last fall, but recent smarmy/slimy fundraising and campaign tactics have turned me off. On the other hand, The Donald talks a good populist game, but deep down I still don’t trust him…I feel a rather hard left turn is coming for the general election if he is indeed the nominee…”Art of the Deal” and all…say/do what it takes to win the primaries, then change tactics/themes for the general against Shrillary. The choice for the general is clear, but I am kinda out of luck for the GOP primary now. Too late to re-register as “independent”/“decline to state” I think.

Thanks for putting these together.

Although some may call me crazy, the whole process was very educating.

What about Kasich? They have both been told to stay in the race to stop Trump. I just hope it backfires on both of them and Trump gets the 1237 needed delegates.
