Mexico has a wall on ITS southern border, and issued 3 day passes to new “unaccompanied minors” who thought they’d get amnesty meant for “Mom brought you here as a baby, you’re 16 now”. And its laws meant it could arrest and deport you if you stayed over that time period.
Saudi Arabia has built a wall along its borders with Iraq and Yemen - and white engineers from Raytheon designed and helped build it.
Tunisia and Kenya are both building walls to keep Muslim terrorist groups out if their countries, too, so obviously walls must do some good when they are becoming so popular.

This quote is not an extreme case. We have liberal friends who moved to Miami. They are upset to find many sections where the “immigrants” make it clear this is THEIR country and Americans are not welcome. They noted stores that sell “American coffee”and they asked what the hell is American coffee when they are supposed to be in America?

What the strutting little jerk doesn’t realize is that Texas hasn’t been part of Mexico for 180 years, and Mexico only had it for the prior 15. Most of the Spanish-speakers here at the time fought FOR independence against the corrupt and dictatorial Mexican government. As for the rest of the Southwest, it’s been officially ours for the last 167 years, having been signed over by the Mexican government that held it for only 28 years as part of the treaty that allowed Mexico to stay independent. In the interim nearly 2 centuries, we have developed the entire area to a First World standard, an area that would probably be the world’s 2nd largest economy if independent (from Texas to California), while Mexico itself remains a corrupt and dictatorial economic cesspool that can only support itself by sending a large number of its citizens to Gringolandia to earn money doing unskilled labor to send money home.

There are frequent large protests in LA promoting Aztlan and the return of the southwest to Mexico. Rarely are they covered by the media. As the population shifts, I can foresee a Gaza-like situation in the southwest.
