The news comes only a year after Chevrolet was granted a license to sell cars in Iran following a 34-year hiatus. …

Well, they do suck. Can’t argue that point. And they are a bankrupt company owned and demolished by their union parasite.

The ayatollahs probably realized how much money was leaving the country. Funny to see Chevy-haters agreeing with Islamic terrorists.

Why shouldn't we blockade Iran's bankrupt (until Obama) oil industry, sinking the ships as necessary and put our own people back to work supplying the world with crude and fuel and other refined products?

“The ayatollahs probably realized how much money was leaving the country.”

You must be kidding. The ayatollahs are OK with money leaving the country, so long as it is their money. And, they’ve been taking money out of the country since 1979!

A very cavalier attitude, no doubt they will face an avalanche of criticism.

The Iranians assemble cars within Iran, but their components are all made elsewhere. There are two “domestic” producers (The IKCO Samand is an Iranian-made car and titled first “national car” of Iran, Saipa Miniator/Tiba is the second “national car” of Iran.)

The vehicles are of Chinese (Chery) and South Korean (Hyundai) origin.

There are a number of other foreign manufacturers, Peugeot, Citroen, Renault (France), Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes Benz (Germany), Nissan, Toyota (Japan), Kia Motors (South Korea), Proton (Malaysia), and Fiat (Italy).

A band of nomads (around the timer of the equinox) were sky gazing (looking for a nova) and decided someone should call the HHR department about all of those imports. When they met the suburban people they did that.
