While enjoying a beautiful cricket-chirping Summer's evening I realized that, since the ridiculously-fraudulent editing of her "gun control" report last May came under fire, so to speak, Katie Couric has been utterly and completely silent.
Just thought I'd point that out so you, like me, can close this lovely Summer day on a high note.

Sounds to me like she’s joined the elite ranks of Dan Rather and Brian Williams. Crooked journalists who got caught.
She is probably in hiding because she finally has realized what a duplicitous loser she is. She likely is suicidal, heavily medicated and restrained.
I saw that ugly midget was in the Sullenberger movie and I won’t watch it. Why would Eastwood put her in it?
Sadly, she is still around. I have a Yahoo ! EMail account, she’s the star of their so called “Global News”. Maybe with the Verizon takeover, she’s getting less work, but if you go to their website, there is regularly a banner story of her trying to be relevant . . .

Met her in Chicago at the AFTRA office...we were there for our "join the union or leave town" sign-up meeting. She had a gig at WMAQ-TV (NBC O&O). She's even more of an "air-head" in person (following the examples of Couric and Paulry).
But as much an airhead as Mika?
I adored Norville. But that mutt who was her co-host Gumbel shot her in the back.

At that point, I mentioned to my wife that she will get in huge trouble for not using the word "alleged" (which has kept many a reporter out of trouble).
Instead of getting in trouble, she got promoted to NBC Network News....got "kicked upstairs".
