Hillary Clinton must be worried that black America is about to be onto her party’s grand hoax. Donald Trump’s statement of the patently obvious, that black Americans “have nothing to lose” by trying out something different and voting for the businessman instead of the crook, has created an earthquake as the media rush to cover up for the story they never told.
The story of the misery of black America under Democrat rule – and nowhere is it clearer than in America’s urban ghettos.
Clinton’s desperate attempts, first in an anti-Trump advertisement and then in a contrived speech about the latest concocted boogeyman, Breitbart’s Steve Bannon, reveal that the campaign knows the gig is up. From the disastrous revelations about Clinton consigliere Huma Abedin’s ineptitude and anti-American writings, to her pay-to-play Clinton Foundation connections, Clinton has been having a bad few weeks.
No better time, then, to go to the only play in the Democrat playbook that never fails: cry racism.
Except, that cry is wearing thin. We’ve seen through Black Lives Matter’s false claims to represent the black community exposed through their own laundry list of far-left causes like Global Warming that drive its mission—not black lives.
President Obama, rested from his Martha’s Vineyard vacation and forced drive-by of Louisiana, nevertheless could hardly offer any counter to Trump’s challenge to the Democrat Party: prove you’ve done anything for black America. Under his watch, on nearly every measure, black America is worse off. Unemployment rate. Labor force participation rate. Home ownership. All down under Obama and the Democrats.
But these numbers are nothing to the harm the Democrat Party has wrought on generations of black America as they shepherded generations from the cotton fields to the urban ghettos of progressive paradise. A progressive paradise where blacks have found dependency, crime, isolation from the American dream, and facilitated the flow of nonprofit and government payoffs and cronyism money. For all this, the Democrats tell black America they represent them.
For all this, Democrats call Republicans racist for suggesting black America come home to their historic party, the Republican Party.
The Democrats take the black vote for granted, and they don’t address this community in any concerted way. Donald Trump did reach out to them, and it has the Democrats utterly quaking in their boots.
They know that black people have been separated from their history. It was Abraham Lincoln, a Republican, who freed the slaves. It was the Republicans in Congress who did the heavy lifting to get the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts passed. The Democrats were against it; Lyndon Johnson had to appeal to Republicans. Black America has traditionally voted Republican.
Trump made the first step to reconnecting black Americans to their history. I’m already grateful for his courage in speaking the truth. He has the opportunity to not only be a leader for all Americans, but also to return the country to one governed by rule of law, not corruption and cop-hating.
Step one would be to appoint an Attorney General who supports police, and in doing so break with the Democrats’ war on the one force that brings justice and safety to many black Americans’ communities.
Most important, I invite Mr. Trump to join me any day and we will visit with the black community of Milwaukee that I serve – the communities devastated by Democrats and desperate to rejoin their fellow Americans in the mainstream pursuit of the American Dream. It’s time for Democrats to give up the lie, we’re onto you.

I’ve seen Trump personally greetings Sheriff Clarke, so hopefully this might happen. Would be epic!

There are three main points that Trump ought to be repeating to Blacks.
1) Since Obama became President over 3,000 mostly young minorities have been murdered in his “hometown of Chicago”. Say what you want about Republican President Herbert Hoover, but when Chicago police were unable to stop the violence, Hoover deployed Federal law enforcement to confront and fight the criminal gangs. Hillary Clinton sat at cabinet meetings for over three years. Did she ever raise the issue or offer solutions? She remembers minorities only around election time.
2) Liberal Democrats always seem to choose the best private or public schools for their children. Yet they herd black kids into horrible union controlled public schools where they have been failing for three generations.
3) The liberals somehow seem to locate their abortion clinics mostly in minority or black neighborhoods.
Keep pounding. The message that black economic and social conditions have worsened over the last fifty years of progressive policies is a powerful argument. He would never get a majority of the black vote but if he takes 15-20% from Clinton, it could tip the election.
Probably better off and more healthful on the rural plantation than the urban ghetto plantation!
So I went to the gas station today and this black guy strikes up a conversation. We talked about the Tigers while waiting in line, and he asks me what I think of Trump. I said something like it has been an amazing campaign, but fell short of telling him I support Trump. Now I wish I would have asked him what HE thinks of Trump. I promise to do better next time.

I grew up in a neighborhood in the early '50s and they were well on their way - our neighborhood was 70-80% Black and most were salt of the Earth types....until the race riots of the '60s knocked many from the path.
Sorry, but back in the day that was an "N" word equivalent. Can't use it, like you can't use niggardly or niggling.

I know. There was a joke at the time that suggested we put a black into orbit, then tell the Soviets “The jig is up.”
