Release ferrets and Everglade pythons to naturally fix the problem.

Tell them that they have to abide by the laws that they make, and hook them up to lie detectors when they speak to the public. That should clear the vermin out.

Whoa there. Haven’t the rat and cockroach been declared endangered species in DC and enjoy Federal protection by the EPA, FBI, and DHS?

I wonder if Melania knows about this problem.

Fifty five years ago the government of NYC put a bounty on rats. All you had to do was bring in a rat tail for cash.
No one took them up on the offer as the public wanted the city to clean up the problem, not themselves.

Which ones? The human or rodent variety.

Just give us a fair election this time, and we’ll rid DC of the rats.

I used to live a block away from a beautiful park in DC, known by locals as Malcolm X Park. Beautiful except for the huge rats that used to scurry in front of me while I was walking my dog there. Main reason I went back home to the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Maryland eh? Me, I live in the flyover country of Indiana. Been to DC twice.
A Tea Party rally, where only a few thousand of showed up (dontchaknow) and when Sarah spoke at the Lincoln Memorial (same amount of people).
My impressions of DC? Lots of young girls walking around in platform acrylic heels.
Okay, it was at night after the events, but what does that say about our nation’s capital?

I love D.C. as my surrogate hometown (we came here from Detroit in 1964 to see JFK’s new grave and stayed!). I’ve lived in and around the city for all of these years, so I love the place dearly. But it has its, er...share of problems. Still, possibly one of the prettiest cities ever...in the right areas.
