You are absolutely correct. I have said that same thing to people who are appalled by hunting. I told that to a woman who is a vegan just a couple of days ago. She was sickened by hearing it. She had never considered that side of it.

LOL! I wish. He is the oldest person that we know of on either side of his family. Me on the other hand, I have some impressive genes! My fathers aunt lived to be almost 116 and was the oldest person in the US when she died back in the 90’s. Not that I am expecting that for myself.

We’ll assume you’ll stop eating meat (cows are kinda cute) when you’re maybe, what? 70? 80?
God put creatures here for us to eat, no?
I eat venison. Soak roasts in Italian dressing overnight, cover with bacon and roast.

That beautiful buck is a winter’s supply of meat for the table for the family. Venison is highly nourishing and delicious to boot. Take your wet blanket elsewhere. Cheers for grandpa!

That’s crazy. I thought I was going to see a guy in a wheel chair with a gun. What an incredible story. Can’t believe he is climbing up a tree stand at that age.

Same here - getting up in a tree stand is even more remarkable than shooting the buck - to my mind anyway.

“thought it was necessary to take the life of one of God’s helpless creatures before he goes.”

Know what happens when hunters don’t keep the population in check? They overbreed the area and starve to death.

Yes, I understand. I just thought it was strange that just before he leaves this earth he wanted to kill something.
