Hollywood actor Matt Damon on Tuesday defended his starring role in upcoming Hollywood film "The Great Wall", saying that accusations of "whitewashing", or the use Caucasian stars over actors of other ethnicities, were unfounded.
“Zhang Yimou called me and asked me to be in his movie," Damon said in Beijing, referring to the film's director who joined him on a panel.

"When I think of 'whitewashing' I think Chuck Connors playing Geronimo, that’s whitewashing and that’s unacceptable," he said, referring to a Caucasian actor who played the Native American chief Geronimo in a 1962 Western.

Matt Damon can play whoever he likes and accept as big a salary from any source. He will receive no criticism from the Hollywood elite as longer as he continues to make his assigned contributions to the Democratic Party ,Planned Parenthood, PETA and other Leftist causes.
Based on the description of the “Great Wall”....it’s a highly graphic monster movie....a Chinese-version of Godzilla, and it has Matt Damon as the monster-fighter. Normally, it would appeal to the under-21 crowd only (without Damon). So it’ll collect an extra hundred million in the US because of Damon.
You should expect a dozen-odd movies like this over the next five years....as Chinese film producers try to make epic films with hired US actors in white-washed roles.

Just looked at Conners in Wikipedia - drafted by a pro football team (Bears), and played major league baseball (Cubs and Dodgers) and pro basketball (Celtics).
Matt Damon couldn’t carry Chuck Connor’s jock. Damon wouldn’t last five seconds if he said that to his face.

A Chinese actor or an African actor can play Lincoln and I wouldn’t call it “yellow washing” or “black washing”. I could keep an open mind without dismissing it from the start because of race. A good actor could probably transcend the racial aspect.
When will the same critics decry the “Blackfacing” of Santa?
So using Damon’s lingo, the cast of Hamilton would be mega “blackwashing”, and therefore mega unacceptable.
The media propaganda machine is going to go into overdrive to brainwash Americans so that we just accept whatever they have planned for us.

I love the Bourne series. But that’s a movie, it’s his Job. Beyond that, Matt Damon is an idiot.
Take the music out of the Bourne movies and they are garbage.
Chuck Connors was also the first nba player to smash a backboard in the league... you can win a lot of money with that bet as most people bet shack, dr j or dominique wilkins.
