Here’s what has to happen.

Concrete has to be poured. Some chainlink has to go up to save money. The total length will never happen, but it has to start.

THE WALL is really something different. The VAST MAJORITY of illegals get here on an airplane or a bus or a train. They arrive, get a tourist visa at the border (or airport), it expires and THEY DON’T LEAVE.

Note this is the majority and THE WALL won’t stop them. But there MUST be a semblance of a wall because the message must be sent.

BOOT THEM THE HELL OUT. That is the majority. They get here legally, and then they stay here illegally. Far more of them getting across the border at checkpoints than walking across illegal. They BECOME illegal. They aren’t on day 1.

A funded 5 million man deportation force will never get through Congress, but the entirety of the budgets already allocated to Immigration can be vectored to deportation without Congress.

THIS is what he ran on. THIS is what he’ll do. I don’t see this promise being broken.

Simply make it so that nobody who cannot prove citizenship gets a penny of government benefit, and eliminate birthright citizenship. Those two alone will cause most illegals to leave. Next, illegals who are here must pay double taxes on their wages, but never get benefits. They have had representation without taxation for a long time, now they will have taxation without representation.
