Yes it sounds funny but it can be true.

Consider if you kill a man who has forcefully entered your home and threatened your life. You have committed a homicide but are not guilty of murder.

Yes you did it but you are not guilty.

I doubt that billboard is even directed towards anybody that even has a permanent home address.

I got a nice chuckle out of that! Reminds me of Jim Carrey in Liar, Liar yelling, “Stop breaking the law, @—h-—!”

I remember talking to a guy who complained that his lawyer told him to not wear a do-rag to his hearing (heroin possession I think), wonder what that guy would think of the character who wore crotch-less blue jeans to his hearing for indecent exposure.

Proof that criminals are not the sharpest tools in the shed.

When you’re a criminal defendant and your lawyer is picking a jury and asks by a show of hands if anyone has ever been convicted of a felony, don’t raise your hand.

I was up for jury duty recently and the lawyer asked for a show of hands on drug convictions. Nearly every hand was raised... Not mine and I was the first one dismissed.

On a similar note, when out to impress, don’t wear a “I have friends in low places” t-shirt.

“Proof that criminals are not the sharpest tools in the shed.”

IOW, the phrase “stupid criminal” is redundant.
