The mainstream narrative would tell you that from 1950 to 1954, Senator Joseph R. McCarthy unjustly accused a wide variety of Americans of being communist spies, creating a hysterical witch-hunt that destroyed the lives of innocent people.

That is one thing I liked about William F. Buckley. He rightly defended Joe McCarthy.
And now the ChiComs are buying up Hollywood and Hollywood is waxing orgasmic over it. All they see is the money.
Unfortunately, McCarthy was also an alcoholic, grade-A horse’s patoot.
Made it easy to attack the messenger.
A bit long but should be mandatory viewing for every jr. high, high school and college student.
