Move over, Washington. So long, Lincoln ... Donald Trump could forever be known as the GREATEST President of all time ... so says Bobby Knight.
Of course, the former Indiana hoops coach is a massive Trump fan -- and even stumped for him along the campaign trail.
Now, he's in D.C. and he's as passionate for Donald as ever.
He even thinks Trump could've played basketball for the Hoosiers ... telling TMZ Sports, "I'd have to check whether he could shoot or not but he could sure as hell play defense!" "And he would be able to WIN because of what a great defensive player he would be."
Difficult to top George Washington. But I’m optimistic that Trump will be solidly in second place.
So far, he’s the best president of my lifetime.
When I was a student at IU, Knight once yelled at us for not cheering loud enough.
Could be???
How about already IS
(And I don't mean Clinton's "is")
In twenty years everyone ‘will remember’ they voted for Trump... or as least backed him.
There are many similarities between these two men. Neither suffers fools.
I just hope that President Trump is more of a Roman candle than a bottle rocket. The world needs his leadership to go on for a long time.
Trump is the right man for the job at this right time.
Different eras needed different people as presidents.
Great president were the right ones for their time.
True.
Had lunch with coach knight last Thursday....he has aged a bit
Dems' Triangle Offense doesn't stand a chance.
So far he is everything I would want in a president...he has shook up Washington . He is not worried about his press clippings ( that was my biggest fear)....anyway I’m happy
President Trump is a man of his word and a man of actions. Will he be one of the best ever? Time will tell but he is the best one since Reagan and before he even took the oath of office.
At Purdue we used to look forward to the “Old Oaken Bucket” game when Bobby Knight coached IU. It was a great rivalry.
It was like being stationed in Thailand as a 19 year old. Beautiful girls and sex was available all over the place for $3.
Knight watches Texas Tech practice in November 2007 Biographical details
Born: October 25, 1940 Orrville, Ohio, U.S.
Died: November 1, 2023 (aged 83) Bloomington, Indiana, U.S.
Tech was blessed to have Knight and Mike Leach there at the same time.
Both will be sorely missed.
