This is a revised version of the constitution. I support a Maine Republic as I feel that the US recently have isolated or forgot about Maine. However I feel like the post I saw from The_Republic_Of_Maine sounded to Theoretical. SO I made revisions that I think is fair.

Now here is mine. PREAMBLE. We the people of the Republic of Maine, in order to establish justice, insure tranquility, provide for our mutual defense, promote our common welfare, and secure to ourselves and our posterity the blessings of liberty, acknowledging with grateful hearts the goodness of the Sovereign Ruler of the Universe in affording us an opportunity, so favorable to the design; and, imploring God's aid and direction in its accomplishment, do this twelfth day of June, in the year of our Lord 2018, by majority of the people voting do agree to form ourselves from henceforth into a free and independent, sovereign and free Christian Nation, by the style and title of the Republic of Maine and do ordain and establish the following Constitution for the government of the same. Article I. Declaration of Rights.

Section 1 Freedom of speech, publication and Religion; libel; truth given in evidence; jury determines law and fact. Every citizen may freely speak, write and publish sentiments on any subject, being responsible for the abuse of this liberty; no laws shall be passed regulating or restraining the freedom of the press; and in prosecutions for any publication respecting the official conduct of people in public capacity, or the qualifications of those who are candidates for the suffrages of the people, or where the matter published is proper for public information, the truth thereof may be given in evidence, and in all indictments for libels, the jury, after having received the direction of the court, shall have a right to determine, at their discretion, the law and the fact. All peaceful and internationally recognised religions are free to practice, congregate, and spread their religion to those who are willing to hear and no one may threaten injury and or kill a person and his/her family based on faith, The National, State or local government cannot pass laws that prevent those from practicing their belief as long as it's in a peaceful non destructive way.

Section 1a. Business may closed on Sunday, Saturday and close early on fridays. To ensure those of all faith may practice freely, business may close on Friday before dusk till Sunday Midnight to ensure those of faith are free to practice.

Section 1b. Businesses exempt from Section 3a. Such establishments like hospitals, pharmacies, and doctors offices may be open on weekend, but only to offer services and products necessary for human life, products that could not wait till Monday. Or those of Secular views may work but cannot force those of faith to work.

Section 1c. Businesses non-discrimination act. No Public, Federal and or Private Business may deny (or fire) a person from employment, services or products based on, Religion, Political beliefs, Race, Ethnicity, Sexual orientation and or Gender. Employers must also pay the same wages and offer the same benefits to said person as everyone else receives.

Section 1d. Exemption for Section 1c. A private business may deny someone of Employment, services and products if the business is either a religious establishment, or owned by a place of worship. However they still must pay the same and offer the same benefits to all Employees.

Section 2. Power inherent in people. All power is inherent in the people; all free governments are founded in their authority and instituted for their benefit; they have therefore an unalienable and indefeasible right to institute government, and to alter, reform, or totally change the same, when their safety and happiness require it.

Section 3. Right to Bare Arms To preserve the rights, safety and well being of the people of Maine anyone of the age of 18, has not committed a felony, has no treated Mental disabilities (any that are known, IE Suicidal thoughts, depression or PTSD), willing to go through and pass a background is able to purchase a firearm without permit from smallest bullet diameter to 14MM bullet diameter and those with a special permit acquired through Federal test may purchase anything from 15MM to 40MM. Those without a permit are allowed to purchase any type of firearms, Assault Rifles, Light Machine gun, Heavy Machine Gun up to 15MM bullet diameter, Pistol Caliber Carbines, Sub-Machine Guns, Auto-Rifles and shotguns, Semi-Automatic firearms, Blot Actions firearms, Lever Action firearms, Pump action firearms, all types of Pistols and Revolvers and Break action firearms. All from Small Diameter bullet to 14MM. Those with Special Weapons Permits may purchase any firearms from 15MM Diameters to 40MM. No National, State or Local government may restrict or prevent this right.

Section 3a.Exemptions to Section 3 Businesses, public buildings, Hospital and any other building privately own or not with a posted sign asking for no firearms on the premise is allowed and must be respected.

Section 3b. Right to Constitutional Carry Anyone of the age 18 that fights the criteria in Section 3 may carry a fire open or conceal anywhere that has not been posted asking for no firearms and as long as the firearms has no bullet chambered.

Section 4. Natural rights. All people are born equally free and independent, and have certain natural, inherent and unalienable rights, among which are those of enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing and protecting property, and of pursuing and obtaining safety and happiness.

Section 5. Unreasonable searches prohibited. The people shall be secure in their persons, houses, papers and possessions from all unreasonable searches and seizures; and no warrant to search any place, or seize any person or thing, shall issue without a special designation of the place to be searched, and the person or thing to be seized, nor without probable cause -- supported by oath or affirmation.

Section 6. The Militia and the standing army of 1,300. So as to insure and guarantee the rights guaranteed in this Constitution and the Sovereignty of the Republic of Maine, every natural born male in the Republic of Maine, upon reaching the age of 18 years from conception through age 65 years from conception, has, as a member of the Militia, the obligation to keep and bear arms for the common defense, for his and his family's protection, to defend against this government or any government in the future from becoming oppressive, tyrannical, or in any other way obnoxious to freedom, and to secure the rights written in this Constitution. This obligation shall never be questioned. No law shall be passed that restricts this obligation, except for time in a local jail, county jail or Maine Republic prison. No law shall be passed, test given, or fee assessed to any citizen of the Republic of Maine that would restrict in any way that citizens right to be armed either concealed or open. Males who are found to be or confess to being homosexuals are exempted from serving in either the Militia or the standing army. Males over the age of 65 may be voluntary members of the militia with the full rights of Militia members. Natural born males between the age of 16 years from conception to 18 years from conception may volunteer for militia service with the written permission of parents or guardians. The standing army of 1,000 shall be drawn from the militia by the commander of the Militia and is under the command of the commander of the militia who is appointed by and reports directly to the President.

Section 7. All human life is precious and a gift from God. Age is counted from the moment life begins, which is at the moment of conception and as such, all human life is protected from conception to death and has the full rights of this Constitution from conception. Any citizen of the Republic of Maine may use whatever force he or she deems necessary to protect human life. All abortions are considered first degree premeditated murder, children are entrusted, by God the Creator to that child's parents and as such are the responsibility of the parents, not the state, no level of Government whether local, county or Republic is to, in any way, overrule a parent in the rearing, educating, and/or influencing that child in any way. Section 7a. Education. All education is left to the local community, to the parents first and foremost and then to the city, town or community in which the family resides. The counties and the Republic are explicitly denied any role in a child's education with the exception of Militia members while on duty and prisoners while in the care of the county jail or prison of the Republic. The first and foremost responsibility to teach a child Religion, obedience, patriotism, loyalty, righteousness, and to be a productive member of society rest squarely upon the shoulders of the parent(s), the local communities role is to support and reinforce that parental responsibility.

Section 7b. Right to Adoption/Willful Surrender of a Child If a family cannot conceive a child then due to any reason what so ever, the family has the right to adopt a child and no one and government may take that right away. If a Family cannot provide for a child or if she doesn’t wish to have a child or any reason to willfully surrender the Child the family has the right to give the child to a privately or government own adoption agency/ foster home so the child may be adopted by those who wish to adopt.
