A military dad was able to join his little girl for a fairy tale tea party in the woods - and the photos of the touching moment have since gone viral.
Ashley, 4, and her father, Kevin Porter, 28, who is a U.S. Marine Corps drill instructor, were photographed in Oceanside, California, enjoying a unique tea for two.
Two cups of tea and a vase of flowers were set upon a pink lace table cloth, alongside two little chairs, perfect for the touching father and daughter get together.

Wonderful pictures. Thanks for this.
is it appropriate that I am jealous of that marine. I don’t have kids and am old enough that it is doubtful I ever will. to all those men in here that have young children take time to do things like this with your children. I don no who it helps grow up the most the young girl having a tea party with her dad or the dad. the activity together helps nourish the soul of both father and daughter.
So beautiful...
OOOH RAH!
Adorable.
Thanks for your service Marine. Semper Fi.
My boys are around 40 and I miss these moments with them as well.
At Easter, they texted me with pictures of how they still hide bags and bags of jelly beans over the whole house for their kids to find as teens — just like I did for them four decades ago. (I took it to an art form — we would still find them 6 months later)
Excellent - thanks for sharing this.
I had a similar situation when I found my DIL’s original engagement ring after she thought she lost it, she went spastic.
My grand daughter made a snide comment about it, I told her wait till something like this happens to you.
It is nice, but leaves me feeling that it is a little too “staged”.... Thanks.
Why didn’t he wear his dress uniform?
:-)
It was staged; it was set up so a professional photographer could take pictures of father and daughter. Dad didn’t expect the tea party theme, but he played along anyway.
I can attest to the fact that it is good that God deigns to give Marines daughters.
