I was a devoted fan of the first movies that came out, but found I was quite confused by the plot of the new prequels. This song was a revelation in finally summarizing the plot for me.

Weird Al and Robot Chicken are the best things that ever happened to that franchise...

Didn’t know Robot Chicken. Definitely have to watch one of them. Thanks for the suggestion. LOVE “Weird Al”! Just my level of idiocy.

Who IS that? Don’t recognize the photo.

Best dumb criminal story is a friend with a cousin who robbed a bank that was on a traffic circle at rush hour. He just sat in the car until the police came to take him out.

THAT my friend, is Jake LLloyd, AKA Young Anakin Skywalker.

He followed the footsteps of many a child actor although seemed to straighten up after a bad patch.

Wow. Can’t imagine any parent wanting their child in that environment.

I hated the prequels. They were stupid in every conceivable way. The critique of them is actually more entertaining than were the movies.

I didn't like any of them after the first two. (Star Wars, and Empire Strikes back.)

I loved this song when it came out, not long after the movie. I used to play it in the car and my grade school kids loved it, too. In fact, after a while, I explained to them that it was a parody song based on another song. I played the other song and they yelled at me to stop playing it, because they didn’t like hearing the original. To them, Weird Al’s version was the original. I always thought that was funny.

I made the mistake of reading the Harvard Lampoon's Bored of the Rings before reading any of Tolkien's books.

As a result I laughed all the way through the Hobbit and the Trilogy.

I LOVE your song parodies. Do you sing any of them? I didn’t find links to hearing them.

Novel writing is HARD. I can’t force myself into the style though I’ve tried several times and will probably try again someday. My preferred style is screenplay because you get to go like a bat out of hell.

You have a great joy of life, which I love.
Mary
