PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Got a few aches and pains? Before you head to the medicine cabinet and reach for those over-the-counter painkillers, consider drinking a few beers.
A new study, led by Dr. Trevor Thompson from the University of Greenwich, and published in The Journal of Pain, suggests that throwing back a few cold ones actually relieves your pain better than Tylenol.
The study, reported by Lifehacker, found that raising your blood alcohol content to the legal limit of .08%, or about three or four beers deep, elevates your pain threshold significantly. The research involved 18 studies and more than 400 participants. It looked at the effect of different dosages of alcohol on subject pain response.

Haha. I have seen some women that are so unattractive that hurts the eyes. Not so much after a couple of beers though.

Tylenol plus alcohol will fry your liver right out, so choose one or the other, not both.
My sentiment, too. Who DIDN’T know? Sheesh.

I remember from my college days that smoking pot while hungover was like getting hit by a freight train. And that was the crappy Mexican ditch weed from the 90s that you'd have to pick the stems and seeds out of. I couldn't even imagine the stuff they have today.
I had (still have a debilitating injury) suffered 12 years ago, and had script for Oxy/Hydro/Diazepam for many years, I told my surgeon, “Stuff it, I don’t want to spend the rest of my years constipated!”
On my days off, I would do a twelve pack, and life was worth living! We don’t need experts to tell us that most obvious fact...
Beer works great for the evening headache.
Tylenol works great for the morning after headache.

Not surprising. Most of the pain from a hangover is dehydration caused by the kidneys dumping sodium while processing booze. Pot has a similar effect. Combine the the 2 is really asking for it.
Hold the aspirin as well
