Democrat Danica Roem is challenging Republican Bob Marshall for his northern Virginia seat in the state House of Delegates. With such stark differences between the candidates, the race is expected to draw in big money and is seen by some as a referendum on rights for gay and transgender people.

I’d go as far as applying for a cat license in my jurisdiction.
Northern Virginia = recipients of government checks (pay checks,retirement checks,welfare,etc) = Rat voters.
They’d vote for the novelty candidate, just like they did for 0bama
If it was anywhere in Virginia but northern Virginia, it'd be a slam dunk for the Republican, right?
It's my understanding that Northern Virginia has gone over to the dark side because of all the influence of Washington D.C. and it's money.

If I were her opponent I would authorize any PAC with the money and time to run ads basically accusing “Danica” of running a “freak show.” “Is that what we want Virginia, to send a freak to the Virginia House of Delegates...Is that the best we can do Virginia?”
“This ad is paid for by blah blah blah PAC and is not supported or paid for by any candidate for office...blah blah blah”

Now here is a law I can get behind.
Imagine congress not being able to fund raise while congress is in session.
Congress could either pass laws or fund raise and never both at the same time. When they were in D.C. they would spend more time actually understanding the legislation they were voting on.
They would sell fewer votes and raise less cash. Opponents would have a better chance at unseating the corrupt bustards because they can fund raise anytime.
Congress will never pass a law like this but we can dream.
