For over a thousand years Roman conquerors returning from the wars enjoyed the honor of triumph, a tumultuous parade. In the procession came trumpeteers, musicians and strange animals from conquered territories, together with carts laden with treasure and captured armaments. The conquerors rode in a triumphal chariot, the dazed prisoners walking in chains before him. Sometimes his children robed in white stood with him in the chariot or rode the trace horses. A slave stood behind the conqueror holding a golden crown and whispering in his ear a warning: that all glory is fleeting.
― George S. Patton Jr.
I don't know if many if any will remember this. I think it was shortly after she was basking in the sunlight of thinking she "took Trump down" in her questioning of him during the first debate.
Megyn Kelly was on her Fox Show with someone, or maybe during one of the many interviews she did. She referred to some letters she received from Trump months and even a few years before. Here's what she said.
"A few years ago, I started to occasionally receive letters from Donald Trump. They were kinda creepy, congratulating me on my latest assignment or commentary on something and wishing me well etc."
Creepy? I thought to myself, creepy?
Anyone over the age of 60, or who's ever taken a How to Win Friends and Influence People course, will immediately recognize that this is a respectful act of kindness that the generation of adults in this country usually gave to one another.
I thought to myself, here is Trump, behind the scene sending a congratulatory card to a young up and coming TV person. Giving her some attention and support.
AND SHE CALLED IT CREEPY.
I knew right then and there that she was done for the long term. When she made her choice to join the voice of people mocking Trump, she had made her bed.
After that, Trump pretty much unmasked her as being someone who was not real talented, I think he referred to her as "over-rated." I think he gave her one last interview.
We now know the result. Remember the look on her face on Election Night when she realized Trump had won? Now that was creepy.
She's another anti Trump person, whom you can throw on the dung heap of mediocrity and oblivion.
HAD SHE SPOKEN HIS PRAISES, LIKE JUDGE PIRRO, OR EVEN BEEN FAIR TO HIM, SHE'D BE RIDING HIGH RIGHT NOW AND RESPECTED.
There are many lessons to be learned here. Lessons to tell your kids about changing ones colors just to receive praise, attention or fame.
The kinder generations of America's past would do this sorta thing routinely. It was the kinda thing we know people like Reagan would do also. Was Reagan creepy too, Kelly?<
Were you true to yourself, Kelly, or true to someone you wanted to become?
Let me ask you, when you got your first real job, was it creepy when your Dad sent you some flowers and a little note to tell you how proud he was of you? Or how about the cards you got from friends and relatives congratulating you on getting into Law school. Was that creepy, too?
where is the announcement about the cancellation
“They are as far apart as the east is from the west and the twain shall never meet.”.........
We can all hope that the left meets the same fate as Kelly.

Say what you will, I still think she is a “looker” but when she opens her mouth, things fade quickly.
Now that’s funny....
Thanks nikos, a little sweetener for my bitter morning coffee!
We the People are still winning! :)
I managed to catch one of her shows... it was like a boring high school video in class.
With her sing-song voice trying to make her inane banter sound profound, it was laughably stupid and boring.
I remember them, saying things such as Trump was running to help Hillary.
Dixie Chicks continue to tour over seas and Canada. They wouldn’t dare show up here.
Ha! True!
Thanks for the good news and the coffee picture.
I’m having my cup of coffee and sending a prayer up to protect our President, his family and those who are loyal to him.
She’s crying all the way to the bank.
It’s the NBC execs that are going to be in big trouble.
Youre right.
Her appeal, at first, was that she was a pretty blonde CONSERVATIVE,,,, or so we thought...
THAT is what gave her popularity as a reporter.
Take away the CONSERVATIVE and she loses a TON of followers.
Go to a butch look AND leftist and
you LOSE... you get...NOTHING....
Good DAY, sir!
She really did go blonde dyke at the end. Why didn’t someone tell her at NBC that the dyke look is so yesterday?
“I remember them, saying things such as Trump was running to help Hillary.”
Anyone who supported Trump “worshipped” him.
Much worse than Hussein-head leftist freaks are “conservatives” who pretend to be conservative.
NeverTrump FReaks here were the worst of worst.
So glad their intolerance and hate have been silenced here.
Example #1469217864531259786237516 that looks are one of the most deceiving things out there. As Johnny Rivers said, “Beware of pretty faces that you find. A pretty face can hide an evil mind....”
Has Trump rubbed it in yet?
She might have money, but narcissists like her aren’t happy unless they’re in the spotlight. Her ego is taking a beating right now, a well-deserved one. Fox won’t have her back, she blew it at MSNBC. There are no avenues left for her.
Thanks for the Ping and the great post. That shows how the media, with just one word, can change the whole slant of a story. Just inserting the word creepy Changes it from a kind and thoughtful act into something sinister. It’s too bad the youth today aren’t taught to think, so they could recognize yellow journalism.
I look forward to his tweet about it :-)
