Professional football is no longer viewed as America’s favorite sport as the NFL wanes in popularity due to the NFL players’ national anthem protests, according to a new poll.
The Winston Group, a right-leaning polling firm, found that the number of favorable ratings for the NFL dropped significantly among the NFL’s core fan base, the Washington Examiner reported.
Only 42 percent of men from ages 34-54 had a favorable opinion of the NFL during September, a 31-point decrease from the 73 percent who responded to the August poll.
The survey also noted that football has the highest unfavorable rating out of all major sports mentioned in the survey.

I am astonished at how these NFL owners have allowed the reputation of their league and the value of their franchises to slide into the toilet so quickly.
The NFL has been dying slowly long before Colin K came into the picture.
For decades they’ve embraced and celebrated the felon thug lifestyle. It’s sad really that so many people worship these thugs and can tell you everything about the life of their favorite players or team.
But these same mouth breathers cannot tell you who the governor of their state is, who their representatives are or in a lot of cases who the president is.

No matter what the new national sport becomes, though the indivual names becom, the same “a-hem”, grouping of “a-hem”, protesters will ruin it, for the rest of us.
The only sport I really enjoy watching on TV is Golf, but I rarely watch that, since I have no TV.
The only reason Rollerball isn’t a sport is that the writer wouldn’t sell the rights to it. There were big money people interested in backing a real life league. He died in 2013 so there now may be a chance of seeing it.
I read that while wrapping up the movie company had the stuntmen do a demo game to gin up interest in the movie. The crowd that came to see it was twice the stadium’s capacity.
What an outrage! The NBA average is $4,580,000 and basketball is played indoors.
How about the AFL? They’re down to five teams, but maybe we can support them enough to become a viable alternative.

Australian Rules Football. Great game, fun to watch. Haven’t seen much of it in the last several years. Just be careful about the promos and the “Man In The White Coat”.
I got into Gaelic football, some ways it’s similar to Aussie Rules, but with a round ball and its more like soccer, so it has a better flow to the game, IMHO.
