ESPN doesn’t deserve to retain the services of Jemele Hill, its opinionated “SportsCenter” anchor.
Proof? On Monday, the Disney-owned sports-broadcasting colossus suspended Hill for issuing an insightful tweet about the NFL, a league that ESPN supposedly covers. At issue was Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, a guy who is sounding a lot like the president of the United States these days. “If there’s anything that is disrespectful to the flag, then we will not play,” said Jones on Sunday after his team sustained a difficult loss to the Green Bay Packers. “Understand? We will not … if we are disrespecting the flag, then we will not play. Period.” The Dallas Morning News reported that two Cowboys players had raised their fists toward the end of the anthem before the Green Bay game.

Yes, I agree. They don’t deserve her. She is so talented that she and Michael Smith her co-host should leave and start their own network and see how they do in the marketplace. I’m sure they will thrive and earn much more fame and money on their own. I know I wake up every damn morning and say, hmmmmm I wonder what Jameele thinks on the most popular non sports related issues of the day....

Give her credit for the Jemele reflex. When her face appears on the screen and your finger immediately goes to the remote to change channels.

She doesn’t even know squat about sports! She only has this job because she is Black and a female, and thus double-privileged.

Has anyone ever watched her show? She is terrible and knows nothing about sports.
How about reporting sports scores, commentary about the games and leave it at that? Leave it at that, and see viewership, at least, will stop hemmorhaging.

Maybe they’ll replace her with Michael Sam due to his unique progressive views.
