Conclusion?
Exercise be racis’.
On a related topic, I once walked into my son’s room and told him masturbation would cause blindness and he said, “dad, I’m over here”.
LOL
...about 23 years too late for Jim Fixx.
Nice of the medical profession to do such ‘timely’ studies.
The heart has only so many beats. Exercise increases the heart rate. Exercise kills you.
“Exercise kills you.”
That would imply watching football is good for one’s health.
So, NOW WHAT!!!
LOL
"Dale the Whale" (from the old "Monk" TV show) agrees, and does everything possible to avoid all exercise in order to remain healthy...
Too... healthy? ... what?
You can wear out your organs by exercising too much. The body is a self-healing machine that wears down with age. If you wear it down beyond its capacity to regenerate dou to overexertion you die.
Lol, I watched reruns of “Monk” all summer. Dale the Whale, no matter who was playing him, was such a creep!! Great acting!
I ain’t gonna risk it!
I am in absolutely no danger of exercising myself to death.
Whew!
I just did it until I needed glasses...
INTERESTING. I’m a very old girl, go to the gym almost daily, and can now do a faster mile on the treadmill than I could years ago. Eat like a saint. Cholesterol down 40 points in last year. BUT bp is going up and up. Plus my feet hurt for first time in my life...probably from running. Perhaps I should slow down. Do you have a source for your comment? Thx
I agree with you about that actor's acting. I did not recognize the actor, and I sometimes wondered if that was a really small, skinny guy inside a huge fat suit there!
Yep, Hallmark Movies and Mystery Channel. I love that channel!
You’re right, Dale the Whale was played by three different actors...all in fat suits! The actor in the picture you posted is Adam Arkin. Tim Curry (of the Rocky Horror Picture Show fame) also played Dale in one episode, as did an actor named Ray Porter (I’m not familiar with him).
Man, Dale was yuck! :)

Katy Bowman. Ive read tons of her stuff. She is brilliant. She thinks pretty contrary to a lot of typical American health gurus.
