Tuesday on ESPN Radio’s “Golic and Wingo,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell praised his league’s players for the social issues they addressed, saying he and ownership are “proud” of their work.

The owners support him and this for their investments? Proves you don’t have to be smart to be rich.
The owners who backed this disgusting no-character commish and rewarded him with a private plane and a pay raise after this poor NFL season are looking more like fools every time he opens his pie hole.

I hope the NFL enjoys playing for a audience half the size it used to be and is the half with little disposable income. Advertisers are gonna love that.

We’ll be watching “Puppy Bowl XIV” this weekend. At least the players in that league are *expected* to act like animals.

Goodell is clearly putting player’s opinions ahead of his fan’s opinions. He must be totally oblivious to the source of his income. Let them all rot.

I wonder when the death rattle will be clearly heard? I would not invest a penny in it. Football will continue and so will the NFL and it may recover but if the Trump revival continues I would not give it good odds.

If they want you to stop doing something: do it with gusto:

I have a hunch that Goodell was talking about the Community and Charity work that some of the players are involved in. Surely, he wasn’t referring to the kneeling and sit down protests during the National Anthem. He may be a little Naïve, but he isn’t stupid.
This prick is PROUD of yet another neutral, traditional, societal institution falling under the corruption and constant politicking of cultural marxists.
I predict that Goodell will not last through the entire length of his recent contract extension. The owners will never say “You’re fired!” but Roger the Profit Dodger will quietly slink away rich and happy, perhaps “to spend more time with his family” and a new commissioner will be brought in to change the landscape. Much like Trump is erasing Obama’s legacy.
Theologically we are dealing with an idol here.

This is what I’d hope too, but the face we see isn’t that. It’s an awkward thing to talk about and an awkward way to talk about it.
