MLK Blvd.

Most cities and towns have a MLK blvd. It’s usually not going through the more desirable neighborhoods for some odd reason. I say this as a person who has driven all over the country and this seems to be pretty universal.

If only bomb making were illegal, we’d all be much safer. /s

Look on the bright side - guns did not participate in these attacks.

...terrorist act...

package bombs by their nature should be considered a terrorist act

"Remember, it took our keystone cops over a year to figure out who was throwing large rocks from overpasses onto I-35 traffic below so don’t assume these guys will get the case solved soon."

It certainly did take a long time to figure that out. But it wasn't someone throwing the rocks from overpasses. It was some loser lobbing them from his tow truck towards oncoming vehicles. Still, I never take the lower level of IH35. Ever.

Very strange. I haven’t been able to find any follow-up other than still investigating. What are the odds of two exploding packages in the same city within a couple of weeks?

An adult white male in a hoodie might stand out near any Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard in the nation.

That would take away all the time and effort put into determining if foul play was intended...

Looks like he is wearing a tux, so it may be normal attire for the event.

“It sure sounds like terrorism to me.”

Were the victims Austin liberals?

“Will details about these murders be suppressed to keep visitors from becoming aware of their surroundings?”

They could become part of their surroundings.

“So the FBI has a picture of a man but there is no reason to suspect terrorism? Just plain old murder?”

Same team that worked on Boston bombers and the Cruz shooter.

A Unabomber wannabe? My first question is which packaging service delivered the package and, regardless which one, there should be tracking paperwork on it that can be located back at the source.

Amazon is increasingly using people who deliver packages using their private vehicles. It is now common to see regular cars pull up and deliver packages.

An easy fix for a liberal Texas Town. On all roads going into Austin place a sign.

THIS IS A BOMB FREE ZONE!

That’ll show them!
