” funds from the flat-earthers”

Does not exactly sound like a rich vein to be working?

Then again Facebook has sucked all the funds from every likely prospect on earth, and beyond.

Him and Evel Knievel.

I think this guy traveled farther than E K.

Waiting for the referee’s decision...

We only had JETEX “Rockets”.
Like a balsa yardstick with wings.

The harder you threw it, the farther it would fly.

His theories are silly but my hat is off to this man who sat on a steam powered rocket of his own building and flew it to a few thousand feet.

I would be honored to hold his beer.

He didnt “believe” in flat earth until his rocket project ran out of funds. So he suddenly went viral and took all these idiots for a ride so he could take a ride.

I’d hold 2 beers for him. Not only did he ride but got paid to do it

#12 Tri-X
I haven’t thought of that for decades. I use to develop the B&W film for astrophotography at home. Now you just point a digital camera at the night sky and get far better images in 30 seconds let alone several minutes with just a camera.

lol...good point. But like you pointed out with Facebook society is systematically being dumbed down so he could have found a revenue stream with unlimited future potential. :-)

Long ago I traded my darkroom for an IMSAI 8080.

And like many other toys I have had, I should have kept it.

Unfortunately, I still have a cabinet full of 35mm and medium format stuff, I never use.

The guy at the 1:02 mark took a picture, turned around, walked off...and missed the best shot of the day.

A steam powered rocket? He exists to enrich our lives with his interesting oddness. He won’t be hired by CERN, but he also won’t be poking holes in the fabric of our space-time continum or precipitating Black holes on the Swiss border.

The rocketeer launched himself about 1,875 feet into the air on Saturday, March 24

The first Interview :
Mission accomplished, I got proof, I went 1875 ft and the earth looks flat with rounded edges, just like a Frisbee.

But next time I just use the elevator to the top of the Shanghai Tower.

I don’t believe this story. Heavier-than-air flight is impossible.

Legend has it, with enough thrust even a brick will fly?

Thankfully he ran out of steam before he crashed into the sky. If he would have cracked a hole in the sky all the air would escape and everyone would die.
