He didnt “believe” in flat earth until his rocket project ran out of funds. So he suddenly went viral and took all these idiots for a ride so he could take a ride.

I haven’t thought of that for decades. I use to develop the B&W film for astrophotography at home. Now you just point a digital camera at the night sky and get far better images in 30 seconds let alone several minutes with just a camera.

Long ago I traded my darkroom for an IMSAI 8080.
And like many other toys I have had, I should have kept it.
Unfortunately, I still have a cabinet full of 35mm and medium format stuff, I never use.

A steam powered rocket? He exists to enrich our lives with his interesting oddness. He won’t be hired by CERN, but he also won’t be poking holes in the fabric of our space-time continum or precipitating Black holes on the Swiss border.

Thankfully he ran out of steam before he crashed into the sky. If he would have cracked a hole in the sky all the air would escape and everyone would die.
