“Bucket lists” do seem awfully self centered, now that you mention it.
God actually does want us to have some fun here on planet Earth. After all, it is part of His creation.
He just doesn’t want us focused on that too much.
My bucket list is short. It is to find a cure for my dry, winter skin.
But I digress....
I have a couple of buckets but they’re filled with used softballs for batting practice.......
Wow! That is awesome! I will follow you, too! :)
Joe was a local yokel when I was kid.
James Gang rocked
Joe played on the very 1st Michael Stanley LP.
When Glass Harp broke up, Danny Pecchio landed in MSB.
I seen em all and had beers with them to boot.. At the Rathskeller, JB’s Kent Ohio

Chrissy Hyndes Brother on Sax
My running buddy, Tim, who I still have contact with today used to double date with Joe LOL
That was ages ago! What’s a double date?
Goofy kids!
Tell you what Brother.
It was not on any bucket list but I loved living in Cochise Co
She’s no Lewis Grizzard or Art Buchwald, but has a good sense of humor.
A Bucket List usually refers to things we want to do or places we want to see before we die.
A Wish List typically itemizes stuff we want to accumulate while we are still kicking.
Pinging this one to all lists, even though it's unrelated, because we need a little recreation time! Thanks SandRat.
A couple more trips to AK.
A couple more hunts in Africa.
River boat down the Mississippi.
Bungee jump one more time from a hot air balloon.
Nostalgic train ride, CO or Canada.
Lots more deep sea fishing.
Disney World, FL, just me and my GF.
AIRNB in the Keys.
The Smithsonian.
Prolly think of more, but these I will do.
I don’t have much of a wish list. I guess I’d like a white Ford Mustang with blue racing stripes and a nice five speed V8. Sort of like the 72 Mach 1 I owned in college. Otherwise, I am quite content with what I own.
Bucket list is a lot longer, mostly sports:
Touring WW2 battlefields
Cubs-Yankees game in Yankee Stadium.
Candiens game in Montreal or Maple Leafs game in Toronto.
Formula 1 race at Silverstone or Imola.
Snowmachine trek across the Greenland ice cap.
Climbing the great pyramid of Giza.
I have a “to-do” list that never gets tended to.
“I cannot believe that any creator would like their children to live that way.”
William L. Brown wrote, “The attempt to make God just in the eyes of sinful men will always lead to error.”
“they really experienced nothing significant.”
Maybe they experienced significant things in connection with their relationship to God.
Maybe their God-given vocation was to be a husband and father, to raise good kids, and then to be a grandfather. Maybe they did a very good job of that, and have already heard Our Lord’s voice saying, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Checkin it twice...
Sharks with laser beams on their heads?
Mine has “compile to-do list” as the first item, and there’s so much to do that I can’t finish the list, so I don’t even get to check off #1.
