Not applicable. Here in Oklahoma we have concealed carry, stand your ground, castle doctrine, etc. All the OK gov did was continue to require people to have the nominal class and range time to CC. The incident in the vid involved a police woman and has no bearing on OK.

In addition at 0:26 as the suspect hits the ground, he's looking and pointing his gun straight at her while clutching his chest. I could not determine if he fired. If so, he obviously missed.☺

Btw, did anyone see how fast the, >witness< in the red cover car sped off? Red car almost hits her while pulling away, as she bends over to pick up the suspects gun, witness in red car then just hauls azz..

That gal did a phenomenal job. She was very focused, calculated and methodical in her actions. But, as with anything else, there is always something she might have done better. Mine was an extremely minor observation that you never know what kind of junk a crook is carrying, so you never want to kick a bad guy’s gun. There are tactics that would have allowed her to keep muzzle and eye contact while retrieving the gun and she would have been well situated to eliminate any further threat. With that said, I would also criticize her putting her foot on the guy’s butt at the end. That type of contact tells the suspect where you are if they intend to attack. Incidents like this are extremely chaotic and she performed like a seasoned pro.

Recoil (sudden muzzle lift ) with slightly slower recovery -- after the car moves. And, the perp definitely reacted (rolled away)...

She also may have taken another, earlier shot before the car moved. There was (less-visible) recoil, and the perp definitely reacted suddenly.

And -- the report said, "The suspect was rescued alive, but could not resist the wound s and died.”

I'll download it into my vid-capture system, where I can view it in 1/30 second increments...

Look, wise@$$, I take my time doing my own analysis -- and then I report. I don't give a rat's rear what kind of guesses others are making while I'm methodically studying the video and composing the report of my analysis.

Since you have all the answers, answer these questions:

1. How many shots -- in total -- did she fire?

2. In how many (1/30 second) frames is her pistol's slide visibly in full recoil/eject position?

3. On her last shot before the perp went down, where was her muzzle pointed?

4. Did she shoot the perp after his rump hit the ground?

5. What brand and model of pistol was she shooting?

6. How many shots did she fire with a two-handed grip?

There are several other questions raised by frame-by-frame examination of the video...
