Met anyone who regrets their Trump vote?

Posted on 07/13/2018 12:16:53 PM PDT by MNJohnnie

Watch the number of prominent Never Trumpers grudgingly admitting Trump is doing a great job as President, made me think of something.

Back in 1993 and 2009, I ran into quite a few Dem Blue collar voters who told me "What is going on? I did not vote for ANY of this"

After the 2000 election, and prior to 09-11-01, and after 2004 you saw quite a few Bush voters say "what the?" about Bush.

Have any of you run into anyone who says "Man I wish I had not voted for Trump?" I haven't and that is a 1st time in my life I have not run into at least some one who says this about the current President.

No. I just see hundred on my face book say #walkaway. Over 100000 testimonials as to how and when they left the LEFT.

No, only those who regretted not voting for him for whatever reason. I presume they won’t make that same mistake in 2020.

Anybody that does regret it didn’t mean it in the first place. Either that, or they are grossly misinformed and out of touch.

The only thing I’ve noticed is that Trump is winning over people who did not vote for him. And, the #walkaway movement is a direct result of the Left’s extremism and hysteria. So, Trump is taking more Democrats and Independents than he is losing his base; if he is losing any of his base...which I doubt.

Nope.

I was more “regretful,” if it can be called that, right after the election than I am now. (Would have like to see another “R” win it.)

I only know people who were skeptical, but still voted for him.

They, and all others I know who voted for Donald, are thankful.

Best vote I ever case, although it meant nothing because I am in a solid blue state so you already knew the electoral votes were going to the Xitch.

I do. I regret my vote.

I regret it took me so long to decide. I didn’t commit to vote for Donald Trump until after a couple of debates.

I’m pretty upset about it and that I was briefly taken by Foam Boy Rubio.

NOPE. Not one.

In fact, I know more people who didn’t vote at all who will NOW vote for Trump.

Not in real life.

There appear to be a few losers in life posting on Free Republic their regrets. The odds of them voting for Trump in the first place are slim and none!

I would only mention that our state is so left that no one can admit openly they voted for Trump.

Only thing about my voting Trump I regret is that I did not pull out my phone and snap photo of my vote and lost evidence of proving to my future grandchild that I cast vot for the greatest American President

IF you believe polling, Trump is doing much better with Republican voters now then he did on election day 2016.

That matches the evidence I have seen.

I saw a comment on a Daily Mail article yesterday where some guy said (of course) that he didn’t like Trump but he had to admit that Trump is keeping his campaign promises.

I was a reluctant Trump supporter - of course I voted for him over Hillary but he wasn’t my first choice. My second vote for Trump will be cast with boundless enthusiasm. Stunned by his cunning effectiveness in foreign affairs. And the tears of liberals makes my flowers grow.
