Abby Huntsman Is Expected to Replace Sara Haines on The View, Source Says

Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Abby Huntsman has officially been chosen to replace Sara Haines on The View, according to a report from Mediaite. Haines announced last month that she will be departing the talk show at the end of the season in order to join Michael Strahan on a new third hour of Good Morning America, which is expected to premiere on Sept. 10.
Fox News confirmed to Mediaite that after this weekend, Huntsman will no longer serve as co-host for the morning show.
A rep for The View had no comment when reached by PEOPLE, but a source says Huntsman has lots of fans at ABC and expected to land at The View.

in her farewell this a.m. she remarked it was a move for her family - not sure if that means money - time involved - or what. frankly i think she will have very negative repercussions from the hostile blowback at that show. i don’t see this as making her life better. if that witch behar were gone maybe the show could be civil.
I got the brief impression that neither of the two guys liked her at all.
Her explanation this morning on F&Fs is she is leaving to be with ‘Family’.
I guess we shall see what her real reason is soon.

I'd like to see Rachel Campos-Duffy replace her. She is very personable and did a great job filling in while Abby was on maternity leave. Great chemistry with the boys too.

Fox News anchor Abby Huntsman apologized on Sunday after she accidentally referred to President Donald Trump as a “dictator” on Sunday.
Huntsman’s gaffe occurred Fox News aired footage of Trump arriving in Singapore for a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
“This is history,” Huntsman said. “We are living - regardless of what happens in that meeting between the two dictators, what we are seeing right now, this is history.”
The mistake seemed to go unnoticed by former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, seated next to Huntsman. The anchor apologized later in the show.
“As you know on live TV, sometimes you don’t always say things perfectly,” she said. “I called both President Trump and Kim Jon Un a dictator. I did not mean to say that. My mistake, so I apologize for that.”

there’s not 1 news show worth watching. Fox and Friends = Kathie Lee and Hoda as far as I am concerned.
