President Donald Trump on Wednesday stormed out of a meeting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer over an ongoing partial government shutdown, calling it "a total waste of time."
The breakdown in already fraught negotiations over border wall funding, which have kept nine federal agencies shut down for 19 days and counting, appeared to heighten the possibility that Trump might declare a national emergency.

Yeah, same old same old. She says he doesn’t have the votes while ignoring the fact that with a 2/3 majority they can override, so she doesn’t have the votes either unless she is willing to compromise with House Republicans.
Did he walk out or did he truly storm out? The wording is suspect.
He asked Nancy Pelosi if she opened the gov’t up would she give him funding for the wall and Pelosi said no. And then Trump said goodbye and left.
What happens next will tell us if our faith in president Trump and MAGA has been justified.
Further being stymied by some lame ass federal judge doesn't count - if that comes and it isn't ignored.

Joe Q. Public doesn’t get the kind of pay and benefits that gov’t workers get. There doesn’t seem to be any real disruptions in essential services that the only the federal gov’t can provide.

Why now? Why didn't he demand Congress fund it when the Repubs controlled both Houses? Seriously. I can't explain it.
Chucky and Nanny refuse to discuss reopening government. They “SLAM” the door on negotiations! Government closure is squarely on them now. They just lifted it off President Trump.
Because he would have been going through exactly what he is going through now only with his own party!!! I think he was TRYING to save his own party before the election he lost the house anyway!!!
I believe he did ask for it...He, at that time, didn’t have the leverage he has now...
