Using soil and water from Earth, of course. The Sun is strong on the Moon. So not much of a challenge.

I think I read that the plant that emerged from the vehicle, died.
Oh well, what’s plan B.

Would it even be possible? What kind of nutrients does the moon have other than metals?

There was a restaurant on the moon but it went out of business. It was said it didn’t have “atmosphere”.

One thing I have learned over the years is that when a government is doing something “strange” their explanation is never the truth.
What is China doing on the the moon I don’t know but I doubt it has anything to do with growing potatoes.

" As for moisture, temp and light, that's totally controllable within the growing environment provided by the spacecraft." We could send up all our, "extra" CO2 for the plants to use in photosynthesis. The question is, Huawei waste your time?

New nine dash line as they claim that Chinese soil stretches to the far side of the moon? They must be collaborating with the Aliens who already have bases on the far side of the moon.
I know those bases are there, I saw it on the Internet.

No, it’s not the same, because it did not “come from here.”

Earth soil has organic matter. Moon dirt is regolith. At least the parts that aren’t made of cheese.

I think you could have a career writing for Alexandria HoosisWhatsis. Maybe you do already?
My prior post was all about sarcasm, and all of it was done jokingly, except the part about 1/8th the earth gravity.
I also wrote it as a test, to see how many people would actually fall for any of it, expecting AOC-types or AOC followers to actually believe some of it. IOW, people like you, who don't recognize sarcasm or jokes when they see them and take things seriously. I suggest you stop following AOC so closely. Maxine Waters might be more your type.

BTW, part of the Chinese plan for growing potatoes and other food on it, is to use a huge magnifying glass in a moon stationary orbit to concentrate the sun’s rays on those plants and potatoes. Artificial rain will be their next project.
(BTW, sorry if my last post to you sounds harsh; just joking again).
