The record freezing temperatures blanketing the Midwest and Northern states are breaking records. How cold is it? It's so cold that for some it confirms just how bad global warming is.
No, that's not a joke. As frigid, killing cold besieges Midwestern cities such as Chicago, newspapers, and pundits repeat this foolishness that the warming climate is responsible for this record cold snap. They expect those of us who don't know any better, or who fear being ridiculed, to swallow their climate-change propaganda whole.
"Chicago's record for coldest temperature ever could fall as polar vortex has city 'in the crosshairs'," a Chicago Tribune headline said Wednesday.
Pretty straightforward. But then the "news" article says this: "This is the same weather phenomena that made the winters of 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 remarkably cold. And scientists say winters like these could become more common in the future due to climate change."
That is, global warming makes the world both hotter and colder, simultaneously. It's the new climate consensus among activists. It covers all the bases!
"Alarmists Resurrect Theory That Global Warming Is Making Winters Colder," as one headline in The Daily Caller last March put it.
More Snow? Global Warming The British left-wing Guardian's recent headline, looking at recent record snow in Europe, summed up this contradictory thinking: "Weatherwatch: climate change cooks up ideal conditions for snow."
Funny, because just a little over a decade ago global warming activists and their media allies warned us that global warming would soon put an end to cold weather. The exact opposite of what they say today.
"Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past," a headline in the British newspaper the Independent famously claimed back in 2000.

What is funny, is if the weather in 2019 was identical to the weather of 2017, and the weather of 2020 was identical to that of 2016, and the weather in 2021 was identical to that in 2015 (going with the exact same weather in Reverse for the past 40 years), liberals would continue to scream that this is all proof of global warming!
Naturally, we all knew that that “cause” would put forward.
That’s the great thing about changing “global warming” to climate change. That way, anything that appears out of the usual can be linked to “change”.

I can get behind climate change, just not man-made. Why is there little scientific examination of what caused the historical ice ages of earth and how they came and went? What are the “scientists” afraid of?

Global warming predicts excessive snow.
After a while a wise person would realize that it predicts nothing and explains nothing, except if that person’s income depended on believing in global warming.
Alarmists will tell any lie necessary to keep grant money flowing... these aren't real scientists, they're liberal scammers - - the equivalent of 'grievance studies' department heads on college campuses...
No one takes them seriously but everyone's afraid of attacking them for PC reasons.

Of course it is. If it’s a change in the climate, it is by definition due to climate change.
The question is, is it a change in the climate or just a change in the weather? And if it’s the former, how can we blame it on Donald Trump?

Go and look at the model predictions (predicted tracking lines) for where a hurricane will make landfall and you’ll get the point.

Actually the term “Global Warming” is being deprecated in favor of their catch-all term — CLIMATE CHANGE.
... and if they don't change their ways, they're going to *find* it!!
