I’ve lived through winters in three states and people in western Washington are the biggest babies by far.
“Ive lived through winters in three states and people in western Washington are the biggest babies by far.”
Coastal Oregone and Californicator coastal citizens are the biggest babies!
I am in eastern WA and that El Niño warm winter up to a week or so ago really fooled us. I was starting to get out my spring stuff and the motorcycles, etc. Now we are in moderate blizzard conditions and on-off single-digit temps. A late and fairly short winter but it does count for one!
Many of those “babies” are nasty when it comes to politics.
Some will be very nasty when they discover that you are a conservative and voted for Donald J. Trump.
I had that experience last October.
A woman acted like a third grade brat, even sticking her tongue out at me while I was trying to make a point. I was civil, surprisingly, until the conversation ended.
Why go back to Seattle?
Wait until summer. They’ll have a run on fans at all the stores.
Not only that our hysterical snowflake liberal rag Seattle Times over hyped it and then our own moonbeam gov declares state of emergency over half a foot of snow. Now they’re predicting snowmageddon of three inches Tues/Wed
I used to live in Seattle. To be fair to the people there, the city’s snow removal plan is “Don’t worry. Tomorrow’s rain will melt it all>”
When it doesn’t, well, their two snow plows and three loads of sand get a bit taxed.
“Ive lived through winters in three states and people in western Washington are the biggest babies by far.”
I’m guessing you have never lived anywhere that the snow impact to the roads and transportation is as bad at western Washington.
There is no flat ground, only a few plows and the wet snow quickly gets crushed down to a sheet of ice.
No joke. Northern Utah is typically fairly mild. Usually by February it’s warming up and raining. Temps are approx. 10 F and we’ve got a foot of snow on the ground. We’re all good, nobody is dying. Washington is full of creampuffs.
Lived in Western WA for 11 years, always got a huge laugh when Seattle went belly=up on the rare snowy day because natives have no clue how to drive in it.
Now I’m in Eastern Washington, where it actually gets cold and snows every winter. We’re in for about two weeks of seriously rotten weather. Today was our good day with sunshine and temps about 11 - 18 along with massive blowing and no help from the city in clearing streets. .I’m within crawling distance of three stores, including Trader Joe. So what did I stock up on?
Brandy, coffee, protein powder, kittie litter (spoiled rotten girl only uses Feline Pine from Trader), gluten-free cookies. I have a freezer full of veggies and meat, enough for at least 2 weeks. If the power goes out, frozen stuff can sit on the porch. Got good at this a few years ago when power was out for 9 days and temps were never above 20.
Why don’t we just nuke Seattle from orbit just to save them the suffering of “a foot of snow”. And I thought Washington DC was insane.
Ever hear of a SHOVEL, you fools?
