I’m guessing it is not so much the size as the shape. He’s probably brachycephalic with a really fat face. Of course I’m just guessing without making any racial judgements.
I’m dolichocephalic, #8 hat size. They make helmets a lot bigger than I need.
It wouldn’t be NCAA approved.
Sounds too logical for the NCAA, I mean, he has his HS helmet and they won’t let him wear it.
Liability, I would guess.
My head is roughly 25 inches in circumference and have a very hard time finding hats and helmets are basically impossible to find.
