I picture Woody Harrelson as “meathead,” not Archie.
It will be treated like statues and singers from a bygone era.
What absolute drivel.
Will the real meathead appear ?
A new spin. That should really kill it then; all PC and LGBT stuff.
With Wanda Sykes in the cast the show being anti conservative is a given. With that one bit of casting “genius” I don’t have to concern myself that by not watching it I missed something.
A TV event to rival “The Star Wars Holiday Special”!
more like gloria
When they first brought this up a year ago, they suggested that they’d use the original scripts and not something new out of thin air.
I thought it’d be an interesting deal to have someone play Archie or Mr Jefferson in a slightly different manner.
But will they? I still think they’ll make it all PC.
Wanda Sykes’s name was all I needed to hear to decide not to watch this. She is the antithesis of Isabel Sanford, who portrayed Louise Jefferson as a sweet, gracious lady.
Let me guess ... Bunker will wear a MAGA hat and be a card carrying member of the KKK. Right?
You gotta watch Woody Harrelson in “The Highwaymen” on Netflix. Harrelson is underrated as an actor.
This will just be an anti-white, anti-Trmup bunch of crap.
Todays racial strife has nothing to do with ignorance.
When All in the Family was popular, Carroll O'Conner did an interview in Playboy. Part of the interview was him complaining about drug laws, and saying if marijuana was legal, he would keep it in his house, like he does liquor, for his friends that smoked. Later in his career, when he was doing In the Heat of the Night, his son was having big drug problems. One of the reasons O'Conner did the series was to provide a part for his son, to keep him busy and away from drugs. O'Conner complained that crew members were sneaking drugs in to his son, and even as the star of the show, he couldn't keep drugs off the set.
Second story is about Murphy Brown, and the plot line when Murphy has a baby out of wedlock. If anyone remembers, that was during the "women can have it all' phase that produced movies like Baby Boom. After a year, they basically wrote the baby out of the show. A writer said the problem was that if the baby was central to the plot line, it took away from the office setting and made it a domestic comedy. The talking heads ignored the fact that they couldn't even make the single motherhood thing work in a half hour sitcom.
I can’t wait to miss it.
Nope!
